I had a 10AM appointment. I'm not an original customer of this dealership and recently moved to the area. I arrived a little early, and the initial greeting was timely. They put a little tent on the roof with the time and the service agent on it (selected at the time of making the appointment). At 10:30, I still hadn't been processed in, so I asked the same greeter what the delay was - I had watched numerous other customers go around me in that 30 minutes. Apparently, the service agent I had scheduled with left the dealership since I time I made the appointment, but there were no changes made to my appointment - so I was waiting on someone that wasn't there. And apparently, nobody looked at the tent on the car to see that the name that was on there was no longer an employee. By the end of this 30 minutes of waiting, you can see my frustration building. I was then met by Steve Curry, and expressed my concerns with the situation, trying to be patient and keep calm. At the time, it was unknown to me that I was speaking with the Asst. Service Manager. He addressed my concerns, got me checked in and had my car taken back for service. Thank you to Steve for taking care of me. To the dealership: I highly recommend a policy change that if a service customer has been waiting for 15 minutes past their appointment time, SOMEONE needs to address the customer and get them taken care of, even if it's not the original service agent the appointment was made with. It goes a long way to ensure customer satisfaction. Also, just mention to the customer (especially new ones like me), that you may get emails or texts for other recommended services that you can either accept or decline. Had I not checked my texts, I could have been there for a few hours with the service department waiting on me to make that decision. More
