Upon walking in I knew I was walking out with a new car. We had one of the most kindest, down to earth, and honest sales person helping us. Her name was Nikki Elmore, Nikki was so patient with us and really worked to help us find a car we loved. We went into the dealership not feeling optimistic simply because of our last 4 disappointments elsewhere, but Nikki was a breath of fresh air. We walked out of the dealership with a peace of mind and a BRAND NEW CAR because of her!! If you are looking for a car, go to the Hyundai Dealership on Rt. 9 in Freehold NJ and ask for Nikki Elmore. Trust me, you won't regret it. More

My husband and I went to different dealers when we started to do our research, not knowing anything about the process, other dealerships disregarded us. Karen took the time to educate us, provide all information and answered our questions. At the moment, we weren’t ready to make a deal but we returned to her 2 months later and Karen Lignelli and the team helped us a lot. We financed our car and so far, we are very happy with our purchase. We will need to get another car in a few months and plan to return to Hyundai Freehold and work with Karen. Terrible experience. I’m usually not one to write reviews, but I felt the need to share my awful experience with Freehold Hyundai. On Tuesday November 9th, 2021 I spoke with someone from the dealersh reviews, but I felt the need to share my awful experience with Freehold Hyundai. On Tuesday November 9th, 2021 I spoke with someone from the dealership to ask about the 2022 Hyundai Elantra N line trim (Blue) and checked to see if it was still available, they said yes it was. I didn’t confirm an appointment until later that night and I did so on their website, I made sure that I scheduled for a test drive the very next day. On the website, I also made sure to inquire on their website about the same 2022 Hyundai Elantra N line trim and made sure that it was the blue one. I also began the process through their online buying on their website just to see what my out the door price would be, it came out to about $29,425 I received not one but TWO emails stating that my deal was secured. And one of the emails also stated that my test drive the 2022 Hyundai Elantra N line was confirmed. The next day Wednesday November 10th, 2021; since I live about 1 hour and 20 minutes away, I called to confirm my appointment on test driving the 2022 Hyundai Elantra N line trim (Blue) and I was told to hold while they confirm my appointment, the lady came back and said that the car was still there and that my appointment is still good. As soon as I got off the phone, my dad and I drove to the dealership. We arrived around 11am. When we got there, we were greeted, and everyone was very polite at first. I spoke to Karen Lignelli and she said that she would pull up the car so we can go for the test drive. As we began the test drive, she mentioned that this is the 2021 Hyundai Elantra N line, I then mentioned that we were supposed to test drive the 2022 one, she replied with something along the lines of, we haven’t gotten any 2022 Elantras, we got the 2021s late so they kind of are like the 2022s. I did bring up the fact that the lady on the phone confirmed that I would be test driving the 2022 Elantra N line. Karen kept on with her story that the dealership hasn’t gotten any 2022 Elantras N line. After the test drive, we sat down and talked about the price of the car, I mentioned that I began the online buying process and it stated that my final price would be $29,425. Karen mentioned the website doesn’t have an online buying feature but it DOES! Karen also added this bogus $4995 markup fee for “paint sealant”. I mentioned the fact that I received emails from them stating that my final deal price was $29,425 and I also mentioned how they lied about the 2022 Elantra being there for me to test drive. Karen then says that the 2022 Elantras were there but they both sold the night before. If this was the case, then why wasn’t this mentioned when I called earlier that day before I drove an hour and 20 minutes away just to waste my time. Karen was blatantly lying to us and she kept on switching her story on the 2022 Elantras ever being there. Were the 2022 Elantras N line there or not? Which one is it Karen? On the Freehold Hyundai website, they state that the pricing is transparent, but up until I drove an hour and 20 minutes away, they kept that bogus $4995 markup fee a secret. This dealership is preying on the average consumer and doing a bait and switch last second. This dealership is falsely advertising on their website and should be ashamed of themselves. I would highly recommend anyone to STAY AWAY from this dealership. More
I visited the dealership 3 times looking at a Tuscon. So I met with a young lady and her manager. They basically made me feel as I was wasting their time. Since they are adding a $5,000 market adjustment I I met with a young lady and her manager. They basically made me feel as I was wasting their time. Since they are adding a $5,000 market adjustment I went elsewhere and purchased the vehicle from them. Unfortunately the vehicle was totaled with 455 miles on it. So I went back and as soon as I walked in, the young lady was busy. So I spoke with another lady, mind you I live in within 8 miles. So I was speaking with her about another chance to buy from them. She went to look into the inventory, the young lady looked at me from her chair and gave me a look as if I was doing something wrong. Anyhow, I am not paying $5,000 above MSRP "Dealer Choice" and higher interest rates. With that said, I purchased another Tuscon SEL from another dealership at MSRP, nothing added and low interest rate. More
I recently had an awesome experience buying a car at Freehold Hyundai! :) Salesman Kurt Sliski was super helpful in locating the exact color 2021 Hyundai Sonata that I wanted, and drove all the way to L Freehold Hyundai! :) Salesman Kurt Sliski was super helpful in locating the exact color 2021 Hyundai Sonata that I wanted, and drove all the way to Long Island to pick it up for me! He also did everything possible to get me a great deal, so that I have monthly payments within my budget. The car itself has so many amazing safety features, and Kurt is very knowledgeable in how they all work. He took the time to teach me everything, and even helped move everything from my old car into my new one. The finance manager, Audriana DePalma, was very nice too, and very efficient in helping get all the paperwork done quickly. The insurance guy was really friendly and helpful, too… I believe his name was Salvatore Iacono. Also, the service department is amazing here! Overall, this was a really great car-buying experience. This is my 6th Hyundai! You can’t get a better car for a better price, with all the bells and whistles that they come with. I’m very appreciative of the entire friendly staff at Freehold, thank you for everything! More
