Matt's professionalism, knowledge, and dedicati Ephraim Jones at Freehold Hyundai, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Matt's professionalism, knowledge, and dedication, along with Ephraim's financial expertise, truly stood out throughout the entire process. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Matt went above and beyond to ensure that my car-buying experience was seamless and enjoyable. He took the time to understand my preferences and needs, and he guided me through the available options with patience and expertise. His friendly demeanor and genuine approach made me feel valued as a customer. Ephraim Jones, the finance manager, was equally impressive. He took the time to explain all the financial details clearly and thoroughly. He answered all my questions and provided valuable insights that helped me make informed decisions about my financing options. His professionalism and efficiency made the financial paperwork a breeze. Thank you, Matt and Ephraim, and thank you, Freehold Hyundai, for making this a top-notch car-buying experience. I will definitely be recommending your dealership to friends and family. More
I won’t ever go back to this dealer and perhaps never back to Hyundai after my current lease is done. I am grossly overpaying for my Tucson, all because it was finalized during low inventory/post-covid. back to Hyundai after my current lease is done. I am grossly overpaying for my Tucson, all because it was finalized during low inventory/post-covid. I had to pay a buying/leasing premium penalty, something most of the dealers in the state were doing at the time. And while negotiating my deal, they switched the number of years of the lease from 3 to 4, saying they had made a mistake on their earlier quotes. I should have walked away right then and there but they were convincing, I had already spent so much time with that dealer, and I needed a new car. Within 2 months after signing, Hyundai/Freehold Hyundai started running advertisements about deals less than half of what I am locked in to for Tucson’s. And if that weren’t bad enough, just this week I started receiving texts from the dealer that they were very interested in buying back my car and setting me up with a new one. I didn’t trust the random text message so I went online and requested information. I confirmed multiple times with both sources that I was eligible after only 1 year of a lease, and with a Tucson (a suv with tons of bad press lately about thefts). These salespeople all said yes that my car is what they needed, that their used car manager was making better deals than ever before, that they had low used car inventory, on and on and on. They sent me links to the new low leasing deals they are offering, even spoke to me about what packages and color I’d want on the new car AND pushed me to come in this weekend. My car has just over 2k miles (city driving), like brand new, no accidents. I Drove 1.5 hours out to the dealer, only to be told that they have a ‘situation’, their internet sales people were mistaken, my car is too low value, trading in my car after 1 year lease would make payments for a new car even higher than the robbery I’m paying now, a whole bunch of contradictions from what I was told previously. I explained about how they contacted me, multiple times from different contact numbers; how I had questioned the reps on the timing and value for my car; all the things! They said they will add me to their do not contact list until my lease is up. I also questioned why my car was deemed low value and they told me that their used car inventory was too high. The complete opposite of what the other reps had said. They added that they will try to make it up to me in 3 years when my lease is up. I told them I will not be back. Later that day I got an email from the VERY young rep that I had to deal with at the dealership (before the manager came over/took over to discuss the ‘situation’- the young kid was a complete waste of space- he obviously knew nothing and was just a go between). His [form] email thanked me for my visit and included “additional information on the vehicle you looked at today.” We never looked at any vehicles and the vehicle info he sent me wasn’t even for the Tucson. Yeah, definitely done with Hyundai Freehold. They are either scamming people or completely inept. More
