Went to Freehold Hyundai yesterday, 4/9/13, with my daughter to buy a Sonata for myself and she was buying a Tucson. We had researched the cars, received quotes from dealers and were ready to buy. While the quote from Freehold was somewhat higher, their ad offering $6000 cash back, etc. made their deal seem better. We were greeted by a young salesman who offered a test drive. We went with him to their other lot and spent 15 minutes looking for the Tucson that he had brought the keys for. Finally located the car, then spent 20 minutes searching for the Sonata, which he couldn't find. We followed him back to the dealership in the Tucson and he began his sales pitch. I stopped him to ask about the $6000 cash back and $6000 extra for the trade in. I also noticed a $4000 add on to the sticker for an extended warranty. When I told him we weren't interested he said we must take it, it's on the sticker. Then he offered $6000 off the sticker plus the add on for a net savings of $2000. After explaining why this was absurd and deceptive, against which he argued vehemently, He proceeded to explain the virtues of the extended warranty. I told him that meant we would have to have more than $4000 worth of repairs to break even and if the car was that bad, I didn't want it. After a few minutes more listening to this angry kid give me more xx, I told him that I've bought more cars than he sold, and left. We then went to Brad Benson Hyundai where we were treated fairly and respectfully. We were offered great deals and both left with new cars last night. Please excuse the length of this review, but it only covers part of the craziness with this dealership. Stay away!! More

I traveled 50 miles to see an Acura RDX listed on Cargurus for 20,000, when I arrived there they denied me the price. As I review the interactions, I recognize that they just manipulated the numbers so many times that it seems to make sense. Also, that I acknowledged being aware that there was body work and paint completed on the car which had a CLEAN car fax with no accidents reported which they never informed me about. This transaction was on Friday, 4-5-12, beware that the contract says that there is not a cool down period and you are bound by the obligation to keep the car. Since I have learned about this matter, there was an unanswered call placed to them and I have cancelled the check since I will be disputing the sale since they did not tell me of the accident and contacting the BBB. More
