My intention was to continue shopping around for a new car, yet when I saw the 2012 Veloster I had to drive it. Once I drove it, I had to own it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! I went and test drove new Hyundai and discussed purchasing vehicle and trading in my current vehicle. I informed salesman and sales manager what I wanted to spend and decided to leave and discussed purchasing vehicle and trading in my current vehicle. The next day the salesman calls and says everything looks great and that they could meet my numbers. I go to the dealership and drive new Hyundai again. We agree on deal, so I start cleaning out my old vehicle and salesman drives new car to service area to get ready for delivery. After waiting 45 minutes I'm told the general manager forgot to add in the payoff on my current vehicle and they now need $9,000 additional for a down payment or I can extend my loan a few years!!! The general manager finally comes over to admit his mistake and when I ask him why he isn't sitting down to explain the situation, he simply states he is busy with other customers. I have already reported this business to the BBB for deceptive practices and will NEVER let any one I know even think about going to these liars for a car. More

They guided me step by step to get the exact car and options my girlfriend wanted. I originally just went in to see what that model car was like. They happened to have the exact car and options that I built online using the build and price feature on the Hyundai website. I knew this car was rare and I likely wouldnt be able to get the exact one if I let it slip by. However I wanted to put more money down on the car before I signed. NO PROBLEM! They held the car for me in the back lot for almost a month, so I wouldnt have to risk settling for a car that wasnt perfect for us. Raphael Johnson stayed in close contact with me with details about the loan situation, while the finance guy did everything possible to get me a great deal. I must say that I was not only happy with the service and vehicle, I was shocked by just how good of a deal they were able to work out for me. They were able to get me low payments without having to sacrifice the extra options, gap coverage or even the extended warranty. My girlfriend and I are extremely happy. They even stayed open late on the night of the signing to accomodate my schedule. Definitely go to Freehold Hyundai and see Raphael Johnson before buying any car (new or used). I came prepared after doing a little research and we came to a quick agreement on the purchase price and in less than two hours I was on the road in my new car. I am very happy with my new Elantra Limited and I love that it has a lot of big car amenities for a small car. (Who knew there were heated rear seats?!?)
