Usman was an excellent salesman. Very knowledgeable about the models I was interested in, and very low pressure. I got top value for my trade-in and the price and the deal I wanted. I was involved in a "bait and switch" type situation by another local dealer who called me for a deal in turning in my 2-year old lease to get into a new 2013 lease at the same or better than situation by another local dealer who called me for a deal in turning in my 2-year old lease to get into a new 2013 lease at the same or better than my current monthly payment. However, when I went to the lot they wanted over $2,500 down plus all the extras such as DMV, tax, etc. to get out of a lease I actually got from them! I left since this was not told to me when I called to confirm the offer. Go figure. I then went to Freehold Hyundai as recommended by a friend. There I met with Mr. Miner. After speaking with him, he was able to arrange a deal where I paid just $1,000 down, which included ALL costs and the 1st month's payment! I was able to leave with a 2013 Sonata, which was more than the other dealer's vehicle in price and overall safety/warranty/features. Total increase of my 2-year-old lease, just $29 per month. GO HERE and speak with JUSTIN MINER if you want to speak with a fair car salesman and not the stereotypical rip off artist. Couldn't be happier!!! More

Visited this dealership while shopping for used vehicle. I explained to the salesman type of car I needed and how much I was willing to spend. I was looking for a compact car 2009 or newer with lower miles I explained to the salesman type of car I needed and how much I was willing to spend. I was looking for a compact car 2009 or newer with lower miles 40,000 to 60,000 for a price between 10,000 and 12000. After being shown a few vehicles that I did not like the sales man had me test drive a 2010 honda civic, when I saw the sticker price I explained that it was way over my budget at 18,700.00 he said that since it was slow that day he thought the manager would be willing to give me a great price, I said there was no way he could come close to 12,000, he said it did not hurt to ask. First he asks me to sign a paper that says other than price is there any reason I would not buy the car, I sign his silly form. Sure enough he comes back with a price of 14,500, a good price but as I explained, above what I had intended to spend. Than the whole "whats the payment you can afford " talking starts I say 200 per month he says well if you push the term out to 60 months with the amount I'm putting down, I'm right where I want to be. I say no I don't want a 60 month loan. Mind you I have now been at the dealership going on 4 hours I explain my finances, current job situation and many other things trying to get across to them that although this is a nice car with great milage (less than 12,000) Its just to expensive. Then the big guy comes out of the back he shows me a kelly blue book printout for a honda civic with low miles in excellent condition and says "This is the exact car you are getting " the kelly BB is 18,700.00 and he is offering it to me at 14,500, and he'll even give me free oil changes for a year and throw in a tank of gas. He than proceeds to explain that if I take a 60 month loan and make 2 additional payments a year the loan will be paid in 38 months it is now going on 8:30 pm and Im on the ropes, I probably should have left at that point but instead I take the deal, sign the paper work and am out the door at 9:45 pm total time spent is 6 hrs. The following day I have to return to dealership with copy of current registration to transfer plates I look over the paper work and discover that the Kelly BB print out he showed me is for a Honda Civic EX-L the car I purchased is a Civic Ex the difference is Leather interior, Nav system, traction control and other options not on the EX. Kelly BB on an EX?? 16,700. Now I am upset to say the least. I feel I was lied to and taken advantage of. I drive back to the dealership intent on returning the car. I am told that although they are sorry the sales manager made a "mistake" by showing me the wrong KBB there is really nothing that they can do and that it was still a good deal, and after all I did sign for it. I say I want to return the car and am told I can't since there is not a 3 day law in NJ. I say that I will leave the car in the lot and we will go to court because I say I feel they did not bargain in good faith. We go back and forth for a half hour and finally another sales manager comes out and offers me 500.00 off the price, I took the deal reluctantly but still feel duped. Total time to buy car 7 hrs. My advice to you if you visit this dealership is to beware of these shady sales tactics, of bait and switch. Although all the sales people there appear to be friendly the bottom line is they are there to sell you cars at the highest price they can, believe nothing they tell you and load up on the red bull because its going to be a long stressful day.
