Terrible Service Took my Pontiac Vibe in on a Tues. morning for an advertised oil/filter change/tire rotation. Service advisor (did not introduce himself, name on in Took my Pontiac Vibe in on a Tues. morning for an advertised oil/filter change/tire rotation. Service advisor (did not introduce himself, name on invoice listed as Michael Langley) told me it would be about 45 minutes and I waited. It took more than 1 hour, delay was not bad, however when I returned home and checked my car, the tires were not rotated even though it was listed on the Invoice. More disturbing, when I checked the oil dipstick level, it was way over the full mark (about 1-1/4 inches above). Invoice itemized 5 quarts of motor oil at $3.50 each for total charge of $17.50 for the oil (5 x 3.50). Vibe manual specifies max engine oil capacity as 3.9 quarts. Manual also emphasizes the warning that overfilling can cause engine damage. I chatted my complaint to Dealer. A Michael Howardson, who said he was a shop foreman called me in reply. He told me to bring the car back and he would drain the oil and refill to proper level and do the rotation. Upon returning to Dealer I met the same service advisor as before. He had an attitude, insisting they added the correct amount of oil. I offered to pull the dipstick and show him while the car was still in check-in area but he declined saying since I spoke to Howardson, (Howardson) would handle it. This time the oil change/rotation took only 1/2 hour before service advisor returned my keys. He did not apologize/say sorry for wasting my time having to make a second trip to redo simple basic service that should have been done and done properly the first time. Before leaving dealer I checked and verified oil level was at full mark and tires were rotated. Other than previous warranty work (safety recall services for defective airbag components), this was my only non-warranty experience with this Dealer. I chose this Dealer based on the mostly favorable reviews from this site, but after this experience I wonder if they took the same attitude with the airbag safety recall services, i.e, did they do the repairs properly, did they cut corners or worse. Difficult to tell, unless the airbags deploy (or perhaps not) in a collision. More

He answered all emails, phone calls and questions. I leased a new GMC Terrian Denali and love it.
