Even thought the Nissan GT-R is a fairly expensive sports car, I felt that Mort Shapiro went to extra effort to making the purchase processa an easy and enjoyable experience. Our son bought from Nissan and was so pleased that he highly recommended Joanne to us. We went over to Vermont and met with Joanne and purchased a Pathfinder and have been extremely pleased with the a highly recommended Joanne to us. I purchased a used Jeep Grand Cherokee about 2 1/2 months ago. I also had to purchase an additional warranty. I never was given, or offered, the car fax report. I since obtained one myself and found that there were 2 owners before me - one had it for 9 months and the other for a little over a year. It makes me wonder why two people didnt' kepp the car long. The other day I took the car through a car wash and water poured in form three different places. Seeing as I needed an appointment for an oil change I asked to have this looked at. I was hearing alot of air sounds from the sun roof area, so suspected the water might be coming in there somewhere. I also asked them to look at my dashboard because it was rattling alot and to check out the transmission because there was an audible thunk when the car was downshifting. Keep in mind I only had this car for 2 1/2 months. The work was done on the water problem without notifying me - and of course it wasn't covered under the warranty. Supposedly they found that the seal around the windshield was corroded or rotted or something. The transmission problme of course wasn't covered either, so I told them not to do anything to it becasue I couldn't afford it. I explained I had only had this car for 2 1.2 months and now I was going to hav eto shell out over $600??? This is a 3 year old car with about 55,000 miles on it and it's having trnasmission problems already? Shouldn't some of these things have bee checked when the dealer fot the car. Doesn't Freedom Nissan back up their used vehicles. I was also told that the rattling I heard in the dashboard was form items in my glove box. It is NOT from items in my glove box - it is very definitely in the dashboard area. I know the difference. Obviously it wasn't taken for a test drive to see where the rattle was coming from. Nothing was done to ry and make this right. I don't expect to buy a used car - that was made ot look real nice on the outside, and have huge repirs two months after I get it! Prior to this I had to take it back twice becasue one of the backup lights didn't work and again because there was a noise under the car that sounded like pebbles rattling that I heard when accelerating up a hill - I was told this was from a shield or something that had rusted out - which they fixed at no cost, however the noise is still there. If the noise had been form the shield I would think I would have heard it all the time, not just when I was accelerating up a hill. My husband was going to purchase his next car from them, but neither of us will do business with this dealer again. While I do appreciate that they were able to get me into a car, even with my financial situation, I did not expect to be sold a car that is a lemon just to make the sale and try and make me feel good. You need to bakc up your cars. More
First, I just want to say thank you to the Freedom Nissan staff. We live about an hour away from this dealer, but were interested to see if they could beat their competitor Formula in helping us make a dream staff. I spoke with Shannon barely over the phone and she told me the figures that I had in mind were do-able and I should come in for a test drive. I was still hesitant due to the fact most dealers will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you there, but decided to make the trip just in case. From the moment my wife and I arrived, we felt no pressure and were greeted by Shannon. We didnt even begin talking numbers until we completed a test drive and they knew I was happy with the options that were on the vehicle. From then on, still hestiant to believe it was possible, the staff worked hard to make my dream of purchasing a 2010 Nissan Titan possible. While working with us they made us feel right at home and they stayed late to help us get into that day. Additionally, as an active duty US Marine I can say that their military discounts and efforts to help those that serve go beyond what other dealers claim and what one would ever imagine. Needless to say, we left in our dream titan and figured while in the area we would grab some dinner before the commute home. We decided to go to the nearby Olive Garden and had dinner. When I asked for the check, I found that the owner of Nissan had bought our dinner, not because we bought the truck, but because of my service. This was a very nice suprise and demonstration of support from the Nissan Family at Freedom. Thanks to all that helped, and if you are in the market searching for your dream car, I highly recommend you let them make it a reality for you. More

After two great years of owning and driving my 2007 Nissan Xterra S 4WD, I'm now the extremely happy owner of a new 2010 Nissan Xterra Off-Road 4WD!!! Many thanks to Joanne, Konrad, and the manager on duty the day I got to the dealership. A day earlier, I contacted Joanne with my vehicle pay-off to get some indication on what I could do with my negative equity. The next day, she indicated that she could get me into a new 2010 Nissan Xterra Off-Road model, a huge upgrade over an X or S model I was shopping for. After bringing out my Xterra for an appraisal and talking with Konrad in Finance, the ball got rolling and a few hours later, I was driving away in my new ride. I'm very appreciative for the service I got and Joanne remembering how bad I wanted an Xterra with a manual transmission; something not available to me back in 2008. I'll continue to do business with Freedom Nissan; both through service and any future purchases. It's been great doing business with Joanne and especially with Mort Shapiro as business owner. Sometimes we bought new cars, sometimes pre-owned; sometimes we leased since the early 1990s. We have had Pathfinders, Altimas, Sentras and Maximas. Sometimes we bought new cars, sometimes pre-owned; sometimes we leased, sometimes we purchased and made monthly payments. Made no difference in how we were treated. We continue to go back because we are not treated as a sale or a number. We feel valued and appreciated. At this point they know almost better than we do what we will like and don't hesitate to make suggestions to us. Our experience with the sales and service staff have always been excellent. More

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NISSAN FRONTIER FROM FREEDOM AND WAS VERY PLEASED FROM THE START. I HAD MY MIND MADE UP THAT I WANTED A TOYOTA BUT I DECIDED TO "CHECK OUT" THE NISSAN. WHEN I WENT DOWN TO FREEDOM I WAS VERY PLEASED FROM THE START. I HAD MY MIND MADE UP THAT I WANTED A TOYOTA BUT I DECIDED TO "CHECK OUT" THE NISSAN. WHEN I WENT DOWN TO FREEDOM I WAS MET BY BOTH SHANNON AND MIKE. AS THEY SHOWED ME THE THE FRONTIER AND ALL THE "EXTRAS" COMPARED TO THE TOYOTA I WAS HOOKED. THEY WERE BOTH VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. NO PRESSURE AT ALL.THEY PRICED OUT MANY DIFFERENT TRUCKS WITH DIFFERENT OPTIONS FOR ME SO I WOULD KNOW WHAT TRUCK AND EXACTLY HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST. I DID NOT WANT TO WAIT THE 6 WEEKS TO ORDER ONE SO MIKE SEARCHED AND FINALLY FOUND ONE WITH THE OPTIONS I WANTED. I DID END UP ORDERING ONE AND WHEN IT DID ARRIVE MIKE DROVE IT TO MY HOUSE SO I COULD INSPECT IT AND DRIVE IT TO MAKE SURE THIS WAS THE TRUCK I WANTED. THE FINANCING WAS SO SIMPLE AND THEY HAD THE BEST RATE AROUND TOWN. THE WHOLE ORDEAL WAS ACTUALLY A PLEASURE. EVEN ONE OF THE OWNERS (MORT) WOULD GET INVOLVED TO MAKE SURE I WAS HAPPY AND PLEASED. WHEN I COULD NOT PROGRAM A FUNCTION IN MY TRUCK MIKE CAME TO MY HOUSE ONE NIGHT AND SHOWED ME HOW TO DO IT. THAT IS GOING UP AND BEYOND. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FREEDOM NISSAN AND ESPECIALLY MIKE AND SHANNON! I WILL BE BACK IN 2 YEARS TO PURCHASE ANOTHER NISSAN. More
