She was responsive and listened to our needs and then just followed through, so simple, no games. We felt that we got a great price. The financing took some time but worthwhile since we got a great deal, extremely low apr. We purchased the warranty and now feel we have nothing to worry about for the next 5 years. The detailing took a long time with their lower staffing on the weekend, but they have a nice waiting room with vending machine and they were making every effort to expedite the process. I've been to other dealerships where they inflate the price and then keep lowering the price slowly, with many visits to their manager. This was haggle free. I would buy from them again for our next vehicle. More

I purchased a a 2010 Frontier and had a very good experience all around. Stash was very helpful and if he didn't have an answer to one of my questions he got it right away. The truck I was interested experience all around. Stash was very helpful and if he didn't have an answer to one of my questions he got it right away. The truck I was interested in was sold - my delay in getting there - and I was disappointed. Stash and others were able to track down another truck for me from another dealer. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. The price with incentives and rebates was attractive and Joe got me a very good rate. I have owned a Frontier, purchased used from another dealer, that has been in to the service department a few times and I have been very satisfied with the time and quality of work. I have also purchased parts from the parts dept. and the folks there were very helpful and got what I needed quickly. More
I arrived at the dealership early in the morning and was lucky enough to have Alice as my sales person. She was extremely attentive to the needs of both the type of vehicle I needed as well as the budget a lucky enough to have Alice as my sales person. She was extremely attentive to the needs of both the type of vehicle I needed as well as the budget amount of the monthly payment. She was patient and thorough in explaining all options to me. When we went on the test drive, she was very knowledgeable about both of the cars I drove, not only from the interior perspective of the car, but the type of transmission, etc. it had and how it would affect the whole driving experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Alice (and the dealership) to anyone who would like to purchase a Nissan. I left feeling like I had made the right decision with regards to both the car and the dealership! I look forward to dealing with Alice when the times comes to obtain our next vehicle. Definitely a nice hometown feel! More

She went above and beyond through the whole process. I can't say enough good things about her but ones that stick out the most is professional, friendly, down to earth and just a joy to be around. She went through the whole car with me to make sure I understood each and every feature. I have already recommended her to a friend and will continue to do so with other friends and family. She is truly an asset to Freedom Nissan and I will continue to do business with them. This is my third Nissan and I love the Nissan product! I hope for continued success to Freedom Nissan!!!! More

On February 27, 2010 I purchased a pre-owned Cadillac DeVille from Freedom Nissan. The mileage reading was 99,707. On the original purchase agreement we agreed that all repairs needed to pass inspection DeVille from Freedom Nissan. The mileage reading was 99,707. On the original purchase agreement we agreed that all repairs needed to pass inspection and any repair under the 3 month, 3,000 mile warranty would be handled by the Cadillac dealership in the state of Maine as that is where I live. On March 3, 2010 I took the vehicle to Bill Dodge Auto Group for an inspection sticker, mileage 100,018. The vehicle did not pass inspection because the engine light was on and the vehicle needed tires. Bill Dodge used the diagnostic computer to scan the car for the check engine light. A code PO741 was revealed which Bill Dodge had a service bulletin pertaining to this code. Freedom Nissan was contacted by me and by the service advisor at Bill Dodge to discuss the problem. On March 5, 2010 Freedom Nissan agreed to replace the tires but stated due to the repair cost of the service bulletin, they would need to diagnose the transmission problem themselves. The general manager of Freedom Nissan, Frank McGloughlin also stated that they did not trust Bill Dodge to properly diagnose the problem. On March 9, 2010 after many long exhausting conversations with the service advisor, Luke Shagnon, general manager, Frank McGloughlin and dealership owner, Mort Shaparo an agreement had been made. The vehicle would be picked up from Maine and brought back to Freedom Nissan. They would diagnose the transmission and confirm the service bulletin. They would repair the transmission if able or send to certified GM dealership if unable to repair. Once repairs were complete the vehicle would be taken to Shearer Cadillac in Vermont and scanned for codes. The vehicle was picked up by Freedom Nissans driver at 10:30 at night and a loaner car was left, mileage 100,031. The driver, Bob, stated he had a flat tire on the trailer causing him to be so late. The agreed upon arrival time was six o’clock. Freedom Nissan did not call to inform me of any issues so you can image my shock when we heard a knock at the door at 10:30. This occurrence was not very professional in my option. Freedom Nissan removed the transmission from the vehicle and delivered it to Shearer Cadillac. They specifically instructed Shearer Cadillac to replace the 3rd clutch housing and seals. Freedom Nissan did not provide nor mention the service bulletin pertaining to code PO741 to Shearer Cadillac per a conversation with service advisor, Cory Getty of Shearer Cadillac. The transmission was picked up by Freedom Nissan and installed back in the vehicle. On March 19, 2010 the vehicle was brought to Shearer Cadillac by Freedom Nissan for diagnostic scanning which was part of my agreement with owner, Mort Shaparo. The vehicle was delivered back to Maine by Freedom Nissan’s driver, Bob. Again the driver arrived very late at approximately 9:30 stating he was having overheating problems with his truck. Again the agreed arrival time was five o’clock. The driver provided me with a no charge invoice from Freedom Nissan stating the transmission had been rebuilt and a no charge invoice from Shear Cadillac stating no codes were found. They did not tell me that Shearer Cadillac did the work to the transmission or specifically what was done, invoice states transmission was rebuilt. On August 2, 2010 the check engine light came on again. I brought the vehicle to Elite Motors, technician scanned the vehicle for codes. Code PO741 was revealed. The technician cancelled out the code stating that it was probably a glitch due to recent transmission rebuild. We also called Bill Dodge Auto Group to inquire with service advisor regarding the code. On September 10, 2010 the check engine light illuminated again. I dropped the vehicle off at Bill Dodge Auto Group for an oil change, tire vibration and check engine light on September 15, 2010. The vehicle was scanned for codes and again code PO741 was revealed. I immediately contacted Freedom Nissan to discuss the issue. Several messages were left for owner Mort Shaparo, general manager Todd Mobily and service advisor Luke Shagnon. I also called to inquire about the extended warranty which I purchased from Freedom Nissan at the time of the sale. The extended warranty company will not cover the repair due to the impending service bulletin. On September 17, 2010 at 4:45 pm, Luke Shagnon finally returned my phone calls. He advised me to inquire with Bill Dodge about a part warranty as Shearer Cadillac had done the transmission work the first time. He stated he would provide me with the invoice from Shearer outlining the work that had been done. He also stated that he would speak with Mort Shaparo and touch base with me on Monday, September 20th. Luke did not call on Monday nor did he send the fax as stated. I had to call a dozen or so times to get the fax sent. On September 21, 2010 I finally spoke with Luke again after many more calls. During my conversation with Luke, he informed me that Mort said he would be willing to diagnose the transmission again but it would be my responsibility to get the car to Freedom Nissan. I brought up that I thought we were going to inquire about a part warranty. He did finally fax the Shearer Cadillac invoice of repair. I, in turn, faxed the invoice to Bill Dodge to get the process going. The service advisor at Bill Dodge showed immediate concern that the invoice did not reflect parts for repairing code PO741 and called Shearer Cadillac to confirm the repair that had been done. He was informed by service advisor, Cory Getty from Shearer Cadillac that they did not scan the car for codes and were only provided the transmission and specific instructions from Freedom Nissan on what to replace. Basically there is now no chance for Cadillac part warranty as no part failed and not chance for extended warranty because of existing service bulletin. The transmission was bandage and not repaired fully as per the service bulletin which Luke has to this day. At this point, the cost to rebuild this transmission exceeds the cost of replacement. Freedom Nissan already had their chance to fix this vehicle and not only did they not fix it, they lied about what had been done. The transmission was never rebuilt as there invoice states. This can be confirmed by Cory Getty at Shearer Cadillac. I want them to stand behind their original agreement with me and their original warranty. I want the vehicle fixed in Maine whether the transmission is rebuilt or replaced. Freedom Nissan made an agreement with me when I bought the car which was not met, they made an agreement with me about the repair, which was not done and now they want me to provide them at my cost another chance to diagnose the same problem. I need this vehicle repaired correctly from a trustworthy dealership so that this problem does not occur again. I no long trust Freedom Nissan to be able to complete this repair as they already cut corners to cut costs once. I worked with them the first time even though I did not agree with how things played out, I tried to be objective and understanding but I am not willing to do it again. If no course of action is taken by the dealership, I fully intend to sue Freedom Nissan. I have already begun to seek legal counsel in case this measure is needed. I also want a resolution to this matter as soon as possible as this is my only means of transportation. At this time, I have not received any call back from the dealership’s owner or general manager. Today's date is September 22, 2010. More
