I was greeted with a warm hello and smile from Joanne, who was amazing throughout my entire Nissan experience. I always find service areas to be rushed and hectic, and even though it was in fact, very busy, Joanne spent time with me explaining and trying to help me reduce any costs I might incur during my visit. She was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond what I expected of her! I was treated like family! Work on my Murano was excellent as well! More
I've dealt with Freedom Nissan many times in the past and am always happy to go back. Their prices honestly can not be beaten (however for you tough negotiators out there, that means not much wiggle room on am always happy to go back. Their prices honestly can not be beaten (however for you tough negotiators out there, that means not much wiggle room on price!). Our sales guy was Steve, who has only been working at Freedom for a few weeks. He was very friendly and accommodating but (and he admitted this) was a little nervous and trying to find his style of selling. We knew the exact car we were interested in, but they still tried to have us fill out a Needs Analysis. Simple solution was I just gave them the information for the car we wanted to test and out the door we went. On our test drive, Steve was friendly and chatty, though he did use some language that might be considered too rough for others. I think as he gets settled into his role he'll be in good shape. The most important thing through all of this was that he was incredibly helpful and willing to find the answer if he didn't know it off the top of his head. Robert (the used car mgr) was also good to deal with. When we balked at his offer for our used trade in (which of course had the Check Engine light come on AS WE PULLED INTO THE DEALER) he was easy to work with to come to a fair price that we could all be satisfied with. Not much I can say about Sam because he did his job so quickly and professionally we were in and out of the financing office in no time! Talk about a pro. Him and Joe were able to beat our already great financing rate from Capital One. Again, these guys were the best. The car did have some minor shaking at highway speeds so we brought it back in for quick service. We were offered a loaner car (which we didn't need), and everything was fixed perfectly with no questions asked. Only slight negative is that it would've been nice if they'd washed the car before giving it back to us. Car has run perfectly ever since! More
On 2/5/11, my wife and I leased a 2011 Nissan Rogue from Freedom Nissan. This review is based on our previous experiences purchasing/leasing 25 new vehicles over a 40 year period. Our lease processing w Freedom Nissan. This review is based on our previous experiences purchasing/leasing 25 new vehicles over a 40 year period. Our lease processing was so bad, that one of the franchise owners apologized and gave us a $100.00 gift certificate as compensation for our 3 hour ordeal to lease this car. The only reason we did not cancel the lease process and walk out of the dealership was due to our salesman, a former Saturn salesman. (We had purchased and/or leased 5 vehicles from him and trusted his integrity and honesty). Our 2/5/11 lease experience was as follows: We had scheduled a 10 A.M. to meet with our salesman and complete the lease agreement paperwork. We were told by Nissan employees that the finance officer was with a customer and would be with us shortly. During the next 3 hours, we and our salesman were told repeatedly, "just a few more minutes". Finally a Nissan computer consultant reviewed the lease agreement paperwork with us and told us where to sign. We were never offered any options to purchase additional Nissan Services (i.e.) extended warranties, gap insurance, etc. To add to our frustration, the Nissan Sales Manager called us a few days later to inform us that we had signed the wrong lease forms and needed to sign new forms. I visited Freedom Nissan with the intention of exploring different options for vehicles. The dealership did an exceptional job of understanding what my unique needs were based on my driving habits and the n different options for vehicles. The dealership did an exceptional job of understanding what my unique needs were based on my driving habits and the needs of my growing family. My sales representative "Joel" was attentive, and genuinely cared about my unique customer needs. I would highly recommend him, and would work with him again in the future. In the end, based on what I was looking for, Freedom provided me guidance on the purchase of the right vehicle even though it wasn't something they were able to offer. This was a further testiment to their interest to help put me in the right car, even though I would not be buying it from them. This was a very different buying experience and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle. More
I had pretty specific parameters when I contacted the dealership yesterday. I'd already been shopping around (mostly online) and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted when I contacted them. I'd been dealership yesterday. I'd already been shopping around (mostly online) and had a pretty good idea of what I wanted when I contacted them. I'd been told by a number of other dealerships that they couldn't help me with what I was looking for (a "gently" used vehicle, reasonable mileage, reliable and within my small budget). I told Stash what I was looking for and he asked me to come in to test drive a couple of vehicles - he didn't balk at my rigid numbers. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted immediately. There was no tension (generally I find carshopping stressful and nightmarish) and never did I feel pressured to buy. We sat down and firmed up my financial guidelines, and what I was looking for in my new-to-me vehicle. We found a couple cars that fit my budget and took them both for test drives. I give him extra credit for taking me for a test drive in the raging snowstorm we were having (don't know if I'd have been that trusting of someone else's driving in that kind of weather!). The test drive turned out great as I now know how my new car will handle in the snow. Once I decided on the vehicle and we agreed that the number would would in my budget, I began working with Joe who worked out all of the financing. I got a great rate, everything was explained clearly, and within a short time, I had my new vehicle. I picked it up today, and Stash made sure that everything was ready to go. It was an awesome experience and I would completely recommend Freedom Nissan to anyone in the market for a vehicle, new or used. More
This was, by far, the best and easiest car purchasing experience I've had. My wife and I took a chance and arrived at Freedom Nissan around 4:30p.m. on New Year's Day. You read that right: New Year's D experience I've had. My wife and I took a chance and arrived at Freedom Nissan around 4:30p.m. on New Year's Day. You read that right: New Year's Day. Freedom Nissan was the first dealership we visited, and despite all my instincts to shop around and look at other makes and models, the wonderful service we received from Stash and Sam easily allayed my fears. We weren't looking for a high-end vehicle, just good, basic transportation and, despite the late hour and the holiday, we were treated incredibly well. One test drive and lots of paperwork later, we drove away from the dealership in our new Versa S. Stash and the folks at Freedom Nissan made this incredibly easy, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Sam worked with us past closing time to finish the paperwork, while Stash finished prepping the interior, then topped off our new car with gas. My wife and I had no firm intention of walking out of a dealership with new car keys that day, but everything just clicked together perfectly. We love our new car and we rave about the way Stash and Sam treated us; never once did we get any hint this was an inconvenience to they guys. They repeatedly smiled, joked, and made us feel welcome. I know this is the way it OUGHT to be when buying a new car, but we didn't actually expect things to go this well. Truly exceptional! More
I had an electric problem. I got charged for a gas pump $800. That did not help. They fixed the problem in a second visit, but I still got charged for the useless work they did in the first visit. I've bought 2 brand new Nissan Xterra's from Freedom Nissan in the last year. Primarily I've dealt with Mort who has gone above and beyond to get me a great deal on both vehicles. I have a condition whi Nissan in the last year. Primarily I've dealt with Mort who has gone above and beyond to get me a great deal on both vehicles. I have a condition which has kept me house bound much of the time so Mort was more then willing to accomadate me. In fact I never had to step foot in the dealer for either purchase even with trade in's! Everything was done via phone. There is no BS with Freedom Nissan. At no point do they make you feel uncomfortable during the process and they are always willing to answer questions. I've also dealt with Bruce Bennett who delivered my last purchase to my house along with all the papers to sign. I can't stress enough how great these guys' are! More
