I bought a used Nissan Altima from freedom Nissan in February and there were several minor things wrong with the care that I wanted fixed.I brought the car down and had some repairs done but the heater February and there were several minor things wrong with the care that I wanted fixed.I brought the car down and had some repairs done but the heater was still making the same noise as it was before. 2 months later my stereo went blurry and I couldn't read the words on the face of the stereo. I called Freedom Nissan's service department and I was informed that the stereo was not under any kind of warranty so they wouldn't fix it. I just bought the car so I didn't have to fix the car I had and dump more money into it. I then got in contact with Mort the owner of Freedom Nissan. He sent someone within three hours of talking to him to my house with a rental car full of gas for me to run while my car was being fixed. Keep in mind I live 2 hours away from Burlington. When the repairs were done Mort was going to have someone drive my car back to me and have them pick up the rental car but it worked out that I was done in Burlington that day. In the end the repairs were fixed and I was very happy with the purchase of my car and the service that Freedom Nissan provided. There was no warranty on the car that would have covered the stereo but yet they fixed it anyway. The stereo alone would have cost me $300 to fix. Thanks Mort! I really appreciate your kindness and the fact that you really value your customers!! More

Joanne and the team at F my family and I have been looking for a dealership that is based on good customer service as well as one that really cares. Joanne and the team at Freedom Nissan have been both of those and much more. They always help us when in need and always have our back when a problem does occur.I take pride in telling my family and friends about where i purchased my Nissan and look forward to future purchases. They have a good sence of humor and a small town (personal) feel to the staff that we love. I never feel out of place or unwelcome there. We are on our third new nissan from Freedom and look forward to more in the future. More
I was not greeted when I went to have my vehicle serviced; no friendly smile, no "hello, how may I help?". I was there for 1-1/2 hours for a diagnosis of my vehicle and no one came to at least give serviced; no friendly smile, no "hello, how may I help?". I was there for 1-1/2 hours for a diagnosis of my vehicle and no one came to at least give me an update after waiting for this length of time. I had to go to a service representative to ask about the progress of the diagnosis and prompt the rep as to how much longer I would have to wait. Again, there was no greeting as I entered the service reception area. I felt like I was intruding. When my paperwork was finally located, there was an extensive period of time between the representative typing notes on the computer and me paying the bill (about 20 minutes). I believe that a better approach from her would have been to announce what she needed to do. If I had known that prior to that, I would have collected my things from the waiting area, saving myself time (and frustration wondering what she was doing beyond just typing on the computer). Part of my job is customer service, and I always greet people with a smile and let them know an approximate time. If I think that the person I am helping has been waiting an extended period of time, I at least give an update of what has occurred and what has yet to be done. That, in my mind, is good customer service. I did not get that at all at Freedom Nissan. More
I keep giving this dealership 2nd chances and I don't know why since I get burned time after time. I purchased the used car from the dealer and quickly found all the filters, belts, and brakes seem to ha know why since I get burned time after time. I purchased the used car from the dealer and quickly found all the filters, belts, and brakes seem to have missed the 200 point inspection for the extended warranty I paid for. The sales manager at the time would only cover the labor costs for all the items that should have been replaced before selling the car to me. About the only thing I trust them to do at this point is change the oil. I used the extended warranty and learned about a $100 deductible for the first time. The problem wasn't fixed I went back multiple times but never recovered my $100 fee and later learned they fired the mechanic who was working on my car and performed the 30,000 mileage tuneup and a month later I learned all the brakes were shot and the battery was dead. I now drive for 4 hours to another dealer To avoid this location for service as everytime you go in there they have a whole new staff so obviously something is wrong. This week I was forced to go in when my wipers were not working and I thought it would be covered under the extended warranty. Turns out the problem was a $2 fuse that I paid $68 in labor for the mechanic to fix. I waited with the car for 90 minutes for this service and should be lucky the entire bill only cost me $78.21 even though I could have changed the fuse myself in ten minutes and $2. They said it was because the fuse box was hidden under the cowl. The same cowl that I took apart last year in 5 minutes and installed a brand new battery in less then 15 minutes. The only compliment I would have for this dealership is they have the best used car selection in the area and prices are actually very reasonable. Reasonable though because most of the cars they receive at auction have been in accidents like mine was. They said it was a small accident but after my entire airbag unit malfunctioned and another dealership took my car apart they quickly noticed how severe the accident had been and then discovered the car had a rebuilt title which was a surprise. Apparently they dealer sold the car so quickly after auction that the rebuilt title hadn’t been awarded yet so the clean title I was shown was prior yo accident. The value of this car just cut in half and many dealers won’t even consider a trade with a rebuilt title. In the end you get what you pay for but with their service department you also don't get what you pay for. More

I was really pleased with my overall experience at Freedom Nissan. Peter worked hard to get the answers I needed before going to my husband to discuss. Within the first 10 minutes of meeting, Peter ho Freedom Nissan. Peter worked hard to get the answers I needed before going to my husband to discuss. Within the first 10 minutes of meeting, Peter hopped right in the car (now mine: 2007 Acura RDX) with me in the driver's seat so I could test drive. Brave man! Thanks Peter for all of your help, and most of all, for putting up with my jokes! :) More
Joanne Pecor is a pleasure to do business with. She had me test drive the car on the perfect road for a test drive; that was fun. She demonstrated the blue tooth for me. She made sure I knew everything me test drive the car on the perfect road for a test drive; that was fun. She demonstrated the blue tooth for me. She made sure I knew everything about the car, both before and after she made the sale. If I find myself in the market for a Nissan again, I would call her. My only complaint with the experience is that I was at the dealership for quite a while. They were busy and kept me waiting a little to close the deal. They did give me employee rates on a couple of add-ons for my troubles (whether or not that's sales speak, well). All in all, if I decide to buy another Nissan (this is my first), I will call Joanne. I had an unacceptable situation with my then-current vehicle. I told Mr. Manning my story, and he came up with a solution I wouldn't have thought of. His idea to trade in my old vehicle and lease a bran vehicle. I told Mr. Manning my story, and he came up with a solution I wouldn't have thought of. His idea to trade in my old vehicle and lease a brand new one was a stroke of genius! I thought I'd miss my pickup, but I'm really loving the little Sentra he put me into! It's sporty and sleek, and the visibility is much better. It also puts me in a better financial situation, which is why I sought out his assistance in the first place. I'm very happy with my experience at Freedom Nissan in South Burlington VT! More
