Not happy with the dealership in many ways. Please be aware if you go and purchase a vehicle you are video taped and not informed, as you as signing the paperwork. I wonder why? . Buyer beware! If I know now what I didn't then I would have purchased from another Nissan Dealer. More
FALSE STATEMENT ON YOUR WEB SIGHT: Feeling overwhelmed FALSE STATEMENT ON YOUR WEB SIGHT: Feeling overwhelmed with not so good credit? We at Freedom Nissan know that tough times can happen to the best of FALSE STATEMENT ON YOUR WEB SIGHT: Feeling overwhelmed with not so good credit? We at Freedom Nissan know that tough times can happen to the best of us. We have developed a program to help you purchase a vehicle "DESPITE YOUR CREDIT SITUATION" . We are talking about not only getting a new vehicle, but getting your credit back to where you would like it to be. During the car-buying process you will be treated with respect and have individual attention. We work with multiple lenders, so you have a choice of who you will do business with I drove their and wasted money and time off them saying "They could help me " They had ALL of my information, there was no reason to have me drive so far IF THEY KNEW I WASN'T GOING TO GET APPROVED. They knew the situation of my current car and how unsafe it was and still said it's ok we CAN help you just try to get here.!!! THIS IS THE WORST unprofessional non caring place I have ever been 2. I do not remember the person I dealt with as i ripped up the business card!! I do NOT recommend anyone here. More

I recently bought a car from Freedom Nissan and when it came time to buy again there was no doubt in my mind where i was going Freedom Nissan. I have had bad car dealings with people before but not from th came time to buy again there was no doubt in my mind where i was going Freedom Nissan. I have had bad car dealings with people before but not from these guys. They are honest and fare two things that you need to have when it comes to buying a car. I got the car of my dreams for my family and all because they put forth the effort to make it happen. I wish it was as simple as yeah i want that car here is the money give me the title but that is not the way that it is unless you are filthy rich of course. So you need someone to put time and effort while being honest to deal with everyone's unique situation. Lets face it folks we all have our own unique situation and its nice to know there is a dealership out there to work with you. I have to say a special thanks to Trevor Lamson and all the people at Freedom Nissan. They are always kind, upbeat, and great to my family when we come in. I would recommend this dealership to anyone it gets a 10 out of 10. Thanks again to the people at Freedom Nissan. More
I drove four hours to Freedom Nissan based on a price we saw online for a Nissan Frontier that we were interested in. Based on the long drive, we ended up spending the night about half way to the dealershi saw online for a Nissan Frontier that we were interested in. Based on the long drive, we ended up spending the night about half way to the dealership. I was also trading in a Nissan Altima which was five years old, but still worth much more than we owed on it. I was told that since we were traveling so far, they would definitely "take care of us" for making the trip to South Burlington. We arrived at the dealership at 11:00 AM on a Tuesday morning, looked at a couple options for vehicles, and then took a lunch break so Freedom could inspect our car and give us a fair trade offer...the trade offer after lunch was more of a slap in the face than someone "taking care of us", and we sat there for a few hours trying to get past Pat and Mort's good cop - bad cop display. Mort seems nice, but this is car sales, and this guy's pretty good at giving his "we need to make money too" talk - we heard him saying the same thing to two other couples in there...When we finally agreed on a price and a trade value, we were stuck on a less than favorable trade offer, and no wiggle room for the truck we were purchasing. There were a few things that we wanted to have fixed on the truck, a rust spot on the rocker panel under one of the rear crew cab doors was the most concerning item. We were told that since they were going up on the trade offer, they would not fix any of the things on the truck, and so I was forced to fix a chip in the windshield out of pocket (insurance doesn't cover these things if YOU didn't own the truck when it happened obviously), fix the rust spot on my own (I'll get to that at the end), and deal with a broken bumper step on the back. These are not major fixes for a dealership. So after we agree to terms, we are stuck waiting for two hours for the only person in the dealership who can sign papers with us to close on the vehicle and set up financing through the dealership. Really? I've never waited that long at any dealership, and we've purchased about 7 other vehicles together. Anyway, we left the dealership at 7:15 PM and drove four hours home that night with a new-er vehicle but still feeling like we'd been violated. Now to the rust spot. I had this checked by the service department at Berlin City Nissan back in South Portland, ME, and they determined immediately that this would be covered under Nissan's corrosion and perforation warranty. This is why the "quality of work" score is low, their service department at Freedom NISSAN should have known about these types of warranty and had the problem fixed before someone bought the vehicle - luckily I was wise enough to have it checked by another Nissan dealership, but if someone had bought the truck and not checked into it, they'd be stuck with a $400 body work bill on their own. This one thing really burned me - the fact that they refused to fix the spot at Freedom even though it was under warranty and it would have been at no expense to their dealership whatsoever. If you have to trade a vehicle in, don't go here, they will not give you top dollar for your trade, and they'll justify that by saying that the prices on their for sale vehicles are so good. Pat was friendly - although I felt like he was a puppet and it was really Mort or the other gentlemen in the secret glass room speaking through him. Pat gets a 3 for friendliness, price gets a 2 for the trade I ended with, customer service and overall rating get a 1 because we sat at the dealership for 6 hours that afternoon. Next time I'll fork over the extra cash to purchase a vehicle somewhere closer because this was the worse car buying experience I've ever had. More
I called Freedom Nissan looking to buy my very first car, and was referred to Pat. He was so friendly and helpful - he spent a lot of time taking me out in the cars I was interested in and discussing them wi and was referred to Pat. He was so friendly and helpful - he spent a lot of time taking me out in the cars I was interested in and discussing them with me. When I told him I wanted to get my father's opinion on the car I was most interested in, he suggested I take it home for the night, which was really helpful. The car was a little bit out of my price range, but he worked with me to negotiate an affordable price and gave me a great interest rate. I was nervous going into the negotiaton, but came out feeling confident that I was paying a fair price for the car. I LOVE my Nissan and would send anyone looking for a great sales experience to Pat. I felt that there was a wide variety of used cars. My husband had actually seen the car we purchased on line and that was the one we went to see. We did feel there was a lot of pressure to look at other husband had actually seen the car we purchased on line and that was the one we went to see. We did feel there was a lot of pressure to look at other cars; therefore, we didn't feel there was a bait and switch tactic involved. I am hoping that getting our car serviced there will be as pleasant an experience. I liked that they seemed that they were interested in our needs. More
