Galen is the man. All of the guys there are stand up and know their cars well. Chris, Trevor, Galen and Mort are all great people to work with. 2014 Pathfinder leased in later February. Had an issue with the doors not closing completely at subzero temperatures. Problem persisted, the *owner* called me and told me that Freedom will do whatever it takes to fix the problem and keep me happy. Service department are professional, friendly and very empathetic to my current situation. This team is going to any length necessary to make sure I'm happy. Cory took good care of his fellow Navy veteran, just like I was family. When things go perfect with a purchase, it's great and that's what we all want. But when there are problems, the dealership is really tested to show what they're made of. Freedom Nissan has been great. Thanks. More

On the down side, I witnessed first hand, as well as overhearing the same with another buyer, a bit of bait and switch going on in your dealership. I overheard on customer being told, "Yes you had been offered such-and-such a deal on financing, but really we can't do that, however . . . " For my part, Mort Shapiro (co-owner) sat down and made me an offer which included giving me $750 for my old car and selling me the Versa Note for $100 above dealer cost. When I came back the next day to buy the car the process was longer than expected, and at one point someone came down and said No - they couldn't take my old car. There was no mention of the $100 above dealer price option, and someone even had to come down to tell me they had overcharged me by $1000. (Don't know what kind of tactic that was.) So in the end I'm not really sure what kind of a deal I got. It was all very confusing. I was very annoyed with the service department when I called a few days after buying the car. The day I drove the car home I noticed the windshield washer on the driver's side does not hit correctly - leaving a dirty streak directly in my line of vision. Not very safe in these driving conditions! So the following week when I was in your area I called Mason Maltais. First he gave me a run around about clogged with ice, etc. as if I hadn't checked that! Then he put me on hold and came back to tell me they were not adjustable on those cars! He even had the nerve to suggest I hold it down longer until the fluid eventually worked its way up. Even if that DID work - it is an annoying proposition that I have to use so much fluid to keep my windshield clear. When I told him I had tried that, he said I could bring it in. I told him I was in the area and getting ready to head back to Montpelier - but he told me I would have to make an appointment, he was too busy. More
We were looking for a used minivan and decided to test drive a Honda Odyssey at Freedom Nissan. We did not make an appointment. We found the dealership disorganized and unprepared. Our sales person was not familiar with the car we were interested in, and he spent most of his time going through his dealer-spiel and getting way too much information from us before we even saw the car. There were so many trips back to his sales or finance manager - we felt very pressured pushed around. We did end up test driving the vehicle, and did not like it as much as another we had seen from another dealer. We expressed this, but were being pressured to come in and sign something on the spot. The sales manager was not willing to put anything in writing unless we were going to sign that day. After this experience, I would not recommend Freedom Nissan to anyone, and have heard similar stories from others since. More

The Sales team was very friendly and worked hard to make it work for us. There was a confusion between the car we were interested in and the sales team thinking we were interested in a different car.
