I found Clem, Mort (the owner) and the rest of the staff to be easy to deal with, and honorable. When my car arrived, Mort arranged for me to come back to Vermont to take delivery. He seamlessly completed the return of my Buick leased car to the lessor, and treated me like family. I appreciated my experience and the care with which I was treated. I will encourage others to do business with them, even if they live out-of-state. I LOVE my new Rogue, especially the Zero Gravity seats! More
Stay away We went into the dealership because we found 2 cars that fit our needs and price. I was already apoved for a loan with a local credit union. The sales man sat us down and asked what we where looking for like every good salesman should. He then left and came back with keys for two cars and one was the car we had found online. We test drove the cars and liked one. When we returned from the test drive he asked if we could get the price right would we buy. I replied yes we would and asked what was the price of the car. He started asking me questions to pull my credit and i asked a secound time what was the price of the car. He replied he would get to that. Peter then got up from the desk and went to ask his manager the price to see if it was in our budget. He returned to the desk with a price on the car and a monthly payment. The payment was $100 more then i told him my credit union quoted me and for one year longer. The price writen on his sheet of paper was also 3500 more then kelly blue book. I told Peter sorry but thats not what we talked about. He then asked what was I willing to pay. I said Peter we talked at great length about what i was going to pay and this is not even close. Peter then said what do you think its worth and i showed him my phone with kelly already pull up and said around this. Peter then said he would talk to his manager. Peter was gone for five minutes when the owner sat down and interduced himself. He asked how everything was and i explained that I think you're trying to hit a home run. He started in with we want to earn your buisnes and how he does so much for the coumunity. We expained what price was told to us and that the payments didn't add up. He started doing the math on his phone which we had already done on ours. He then started asking if the payments could be done would we buy the car. We had said yes to this question to the salesman before. Then he had a finance manager come over and stood over us saying yes we could have had the payment we asked for. The 2 then said ok lets go take a look and both left the desk where we were sitting. The salesman never came to talk to us so it makes me feel like he never really cared about us. We ended up walking out because i dont like being treated like a idiot that cannot do math. The salesman came to the car as we were pulling out and handed us a new price that was still over the kelly high sales price. More

Do not give them your time Worst car buying experience you could ever subject yourself to. No respect for you or your time. We went in with our one year old and told the upfront we had just started looking and wanted to test drive and get an estimate. Showed us a few cars and then lead us on for the longest time "working on our trade estimate". Eventually when I asked if they had any intent to actually give me the estimate the finance guy actually raised his voice and started yelling at me that I wasn't giving them a fair chance by not first committing to a vehicle and I had to be more reasonable and let them find me the right car so we could all leave happy. At no point in my life have I ever had a customer service experience so bad. I was told if I didnt want to let them do their job the I should just get out, I did exactly that and will never go back or buy a Nissan. More
Too many games. I stopped by last Monday to look at used cars. Salesman Peter Keegan listened to what I was looking for and showed me around the lot. He unlocked about six different cars and let me look them over quickly. There was a 2012 Hyundai Accent that looked pretty nice to me and I asked him to give me the information on the vehicle. Peter wrote down the stock number for me and a price of $12,000. He asked me if I was ready to buy a car today, and I told him I was not. He told me the owner from Florida was at the dealership and asked me if I would buy the car today for $8,900. I thought about it for a bit and even looked up the price in kbb.com and nada.com with Peter assisting me in entering the correct information. Eventually, I decided that I was not prepared to buy the car and I told Peter I'd return to examine and test drive the car if I wanted to pursue a purchase. So, last Thursday I returned to Freedom Nissan with my son and we took the Accent for a test drive, and went over it head-to-toe. After spending approximately two hours going over the car, I was ready to buy it. I asked Peter to confirm the price and he disappeared into the back office. When he returned, he had $12,000 written on the purchase order, and he told me that was the price. I reminded him that he had quoted me $8,900 three days prior. He told me that he only threw out the price to gauge my interest in the vehicle. I told him I was interested at $8,900 but not at $12,000, because at a discount these vehicle sell brand new for $13,500. Peter again disappeared into the back office and again returned with $12,000 written on the purchase order. Peter then told me to come back in when I was serious about buying a car. I left with absolutely no plans to ever return, and relieved that I had not been bitten by the hornets in this nest. I wasn't surprised when on Monday I received a call from Mort Shapiro, the owner of Freedom Nissan (I guess he was still in town and not back in Florida?). He inquired about my customer satisfaction with Freedom Nissan. I told him what happened and that I bought a new Subaru on Saturday because I was so disappointed in my experience trying to buy a used car at Freedom Nissan. Peter clearly was aware that I took his offer as just that, an offer. Mort was clearly calling me to see if I could be lured back to buy the Hyundai. I'm not a big fan of the games used car dealers play. That is why I visited a car dealership that sells new cars. Apparently at Freedom Nissan this means nothing as they put themselves on par with the worst used car lots in the business. I'd suggest that car shoppers avoid this dealer. They are looking to play games with buyers, and I would not trust the condition of their vehicles. More

I was looking for a hybrid to cut back on fuel expense and consumption, Kyle Nichols suggested I test drive a Nissan Leaf. All of my questions were answered with knowledge about this fully electric car. Klye went out of his way to make this new car meet my transportation needs. I appreciate the extra efforts to make me happy. More
On our way to dinner This is the second time we were going to eat out at a restaurant near the Freedom Nissan. The first we ended up with new Prius from another dealer and this time a new Rogue. We wanted a new car for our trip this summer to CO. Besides the Prius we had a Saab and Dodge Van with lots of miles and a 350 Z. Not the car to travel 4000 miles in. We went in a 3:00 and they were very happy to see us thru the process. It was late Sunday afternoon but the sale was more important to them than getting out at regular closing time. Our sales person Alex really knew the features on the car. We do not buy cars with bells and whistles and we were not pushed in that direction. From the beginning we wanted the best deal on a practical car. They had a good inventory and when we went outside to pick a color we upgraded to one which had a roof rack, backup camera and bluetooth for the phone. Just today I had to go back for some door edge protectors. I was told 1 1/2 hours and they were right on the time. So far Freedom made it real easy to buy a car and their follow up has been good. We don't buy cars often but we would go there first and I am am sure we will get good pricing and service again. More

I am beyond excited and so happy they put me into a 2014 Nissan Sentra. The car is very roomie for my little one I have and we have another one on the way! im glad I have a very reliable car to transport me and my family in, and cant wait to cherish the memories into this new car. I want to say thank you so much to the manager, Mort for everything he has done for me and I want to say thank you to pat for all the help he has done to get me into this car!! and another BIG thank you to the credit guy from new York city and jim! I forgot the other guys name but hes the one who went above and beyond to get me into this awesome vehicle! I couldn't thank you enough to these guys!! I highly recommend going to pat for any sales in your future. as you will see on his desk he as about 6 sales person of the month signs!! and he deserves every single one!! again THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! They both were very accommodating to my needs and let me take the car for 4 days to try it out and let my mechanic look at it. It had a clean bill of health, like they said. We agreed on a price that was reasonable to both of us and I was even gifted the Zurich Shield car protection. It had a rough start, but in the end the experience and deal came out strong. More

He is very knowledgeable about the product and clearly loves what he is doing, which becomes apparent when working with him. I have to say that this buying experience at Freedom Nissan with Galen was a totally positive experience. I highly recommend him, and this dealership. Between Galen's willingness to do whatever it takes to make sure the customer is happy, even after the sale, as well as the owner's devotion to the customer and his very smoothly run business, buying a car at Freedom Nissan was a very easy and positive experience.
