I have a 2018 Ram 3500, with 70,000 miles on it, that I bought in August 2020, at another dealership. It had been serviced before I bought it, but after I got it home, small things started showing up. The bought in August 2020, at another dealership. It had been serviced before I bought it, but after I got it home, small things started showing up. The passenger window wouldn’t roll down from the driver side. Nothing showed up on the dash menu regarding tires or tire pressure. Then, the DEF system quit using DEF (The gauge showed full without the needle moving for two weeks). I took it to the Freedom Sherman service center location, and told them about the truck, and that I wanted it checked from bumper to bumper. I received a call the next day telling me that the DEF system had diesel in it and that had ruined the pump. It was suggested that I had mistakenly put diesel in the DEF tank, and I assured them that I had not. I was told $2200.00 and I asked about the tires and window not rolling down. I was told that they had a diesel mechanic working on the DEF system and it would go over to someone different to check out the electronics. Three days later, I get a call that the truck is ready. When I pick it up, the guy I had been dealing with (Alex) was not there, and the new guy was clueless about what had been done. I was escorted to a cashier, and dumped off, while the guy from the service department disappeared. $2500.00 later I finally see what they had done in writing. They had replaced the DEF system. That was it. The window still didn’t roll down and I still don’t know why nothing about the tires shows up on the dash menu. The overall experience was: The employees there had an underlying attitude of “You need us, we don’t need you”. When calling or interacting with different individuals in the service center, they were flippant and dismissive. The young man (Alex) that I primarily dealt with was nice but seemed either clueless or trying to be slick when avoiding my questions. I do not recommend this place, or any other place in this chain. More
