I recently purchased a used 07 escalade from Fred's select auto. The staff was very nice and helpfull. My wife and I are very pleased with our purchase. I would recomend Fred's to anyone especially any person having trouble finding financing due to a not so perfect credit rating. This dealership is extremely unprofessional and run scams. I went to Fred's Select Auto to purchase an '04 Acura TL. They didn't have any on their lot at the time. However, the "buyer" , Ksim assured m scams. I went to Fred's Select Auto to purchase an '04 Acura TL. They didn't have any on their lot at the time. However, the "buyer" , Ksim assured me if I left a $500 deposit he would be able to get me the car within a week. Wanting the car desperately, I left the $500 on March 6, 2010. 2 weeks had gone by and I had not heard anything from my salesperson, Ophelia or Ksim, the buyer as to the status of the car. I live in Richmond and drove over an hour to find out what was going on. Ksim insisted I give him another week to search for the car or he could get me something else. I told him I saw a Nissan Maxima @ Luxury Auto Sales (I had NO idea this was the SAME shop). Ksim immedicately called down to Luxury Auto Sales to tell them to "hold" the Nissan Maxima for a customer. I told Ksim, David and Ophelia I would be back a week later with the remainder of my down payment ($1500) to purchase the car on March 27, 2010. Arrived @ Fred's @ 10:30 am. The car was NOT at the location and David had not finsihed processing my finance paper work. Which should have been done PRIOR to my arrival. I was quite irritated, as you can imagine. David told me in front of the "manager" that he was NOT going to approve my loan and that HE was the one who determines if I get in that car or not. He was extremely rude, arrogant and unprofessional. The manager said NOTHING! I insisted on getting my $500 refund. The manager claimed Ksim wasn't there to sign the check and I had to come back in 2 hrs. I had him credit my credit card. To date, I still have NOT seen the credit post to my account. If I don't get my refund, they will see me in COURT!! I would NOT recommend this dealer to ANYONE!! They are scam artist, unprofessional and liars! I'm NOT done with this! They will hear it from me!
