You are absolutely correct that we did not properly offer a fix to the lug nut issue after we explained it was not under warranty. The issue is known among Ford vehicles, and we do apologize that you were not offered solutions to your issue. We are certainly able to to quote you new ones, and we apologize that was not done. Hello- Yes, the wire harness was on backorder and you were provided an estimated delivery date. The part came in early, and Amy communicated with you via text throughout the month. A temporary fix was offered, but your insurance company would not cover the cost and you elected not to pay out of pocket. You were provided a no charge rental. As for the tail light not being plugged in, that was an oversight which we would have corrected quickly, but you had the expertise to do it on your own. Any all caps reply was made in error, and for that she apologizes. Our texting system goes through desktop computer, and most of our other Service computer programs require all caps to use (odd we know!) so this sometimes happens. Thanks for your comments.

I was never informed about insurance not covering a temporary fix. I was never offered to pay for a temp fix out of pocket. I was not provided a free rental car, my insurance paid for it. Yes I fixed the oversight on my own. However, a response to the issue was certainly warranted. I received none, not an apology, nothing. Funny how the only message I received in all CAPS was one in which she sounded frustrated. And I didn’t mention it before, but the $1700.00 harness you charged my insurance company for, I could have purchased online from a Nissan dealer for $416.00.

We can see here that mistakes were made on the part of your Service Advisor, mostly communication based. she and management have reviewed this case together. As for as the free rental, yes it was part if insurance coverage. Our repair included parts and labor as well.
