New Explorer I really wasn't looking to buy a new car. We had a 2017 Escape that we liked. It was a little small to haul the Grandkids in. Alec Barone ca I really wasn't looking to buy a new car. We had a 2017 Escape that we liked. It was a little small to haul the Grandkids in. Alec Barone called to see how things was going with the Escape we bought off of him 3 years ago. I told him we liked it. He ask if we were interested in trading up and since we had very low miles on the escape I wasn't sure we wanted to. I talked to the wife who said she would like an Edge because its bigger then the Escape. Alec told me there are better deals on the Explorer which got our attention.
