I contacted a Salesman with Fred Hass Toyota World in Spring on 01/22/22 about the purchase of a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. We negotiated the price, payment and the trade of my vehicle. I sent him the VIN numbe Spring on 01/22/22 about the purchase of a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. We negotiated the price, payment and the trade of my vehicle. I sent him the VIN number and numerous pictures of my vehicle trade-in. The Salesman told me that it was a "done deal" as I wanted to make sure that when I came to the dealership on 01/23/22 that I went straight to financing. He sent me pictures of the truck and told be "Congratulations" it was a deal! He asked me what time I would be in on 01/23/22. I told him 11:00 and that I would text him that morning with a definate ETA. We arrived precisely at 8:00 a.m. and he sat us down with the Sales Manager. This raised an alarm in my mind that I may have been scammed. Unfortunately, I was correct and the Dealerships scheme was to get me in to the dealership and have me preorder a vehicle. I was livid and they had not even run my credit nor been advised by Finance what my payment would be and it was supposed to be a completed deal. Then I was told they did not even have a Tacoma on the lot! So where did the Salesman get the pictures from? The Sales Manager quoted me a higher monthly payment than promised and a longer finance term! This business is a total SCAM and should be shut down for unethical practices. I drove 3 hours to get there with the presumption that I had bought a vehicle. Please don't trust anyone at this dealership. Later that afternoon I called and asked to speak to a Salesman and I got the same person, who told me I had a finalized deal. I asked if they had any Tacoma's and he said "Yes" what are you looking for? This should not be legal! More

When my 2018 Toyota below 50000 miles only needed to change a battery today, I was charged $400 not only $167 related to cost of battery and labor associated with but also an additional service around $ change a battery today, I was charged $400 not only $167 related to cost of battery and labor associated with but also an additional service around $200 for an unnecessary diagnostic check including testing whether gas in my car had a water. I tried to explain to the agent Sparky Twyford the malfunction signal relating to battery i saw when I could not start my car. He rejected to listen and would not proceed to fix my car if I did not sign the agreement with the diagnostic check. It turned out the only problem my car had was to replace a battery as predicted in the first place. In addition, if a 2018 Toyota with less than 50000 mileages had a serious issue, would that mean the quality of cars manufactured by Toyota be questionable? My family have been loyal customers to Toyota for more than 15 years and have purchased at least 6 Toyota cars. CANNOT BELIEVES THIS! More
I am very pleased with my experience at Fred Haas Toyato. My online sales rep was Hector Gutierrez. Definitely not your typical car salesman.
