It has been three weeks since the dealer recommended that my driver axle needed replacement. They deemed the repairs critical but did not have the part. When I got the quote for the repairs (3 weeks ago), I mentioned to Denis, my advisor that the vehicle was still under warranty and therefore the repair and part was covered. I understand that there is a nationwide back order on the part, but it is not right for the dealer not to offer a rental/loaner three weeks ago when I drove out of the place with an unsafe vehicle. It was not until 9/18/23, after researching and contacting Denis on the issue of a loaner, was a ticket generated to acquire one. I was contacted by a Ms. Garcia from the Loyalty Valet team regarding a loaner on the same day advising that someone will be contacting me. I followed up with the dealer on 9/19/23 but no help whatsoever. The person I spoke with was only interested in knowing if I will return the loaner after five days regardless on whether the part was available or not. More
