Persistence I met Jerry Kempenski through internet response to my search for a new 2014 Toyota Camry. I was not inclined to drive across town 30 miles to purchase I met Jerry Kempenski through internet response to my search for a new 2014 Toyota Camry. I was not inclined to drive across town 30 miles to purchase the car, when two other dealerships were within 15 minutes of my home. I felt either of those two dealers could find the car I wanted. But because Jerry was politely persistent - and insistent that he could show my why I should buy from Fred Haas Toyota World - I decided to give him a chance. By the time we met in person at the dealership, Jerry had already lined up the exact Camry I was looking for, had sent me the specs on the car, and the process had moved along easily enough to take a test-drive. I found Jerry to be quite pleasant, not pushy, informative and a good listener. He was comfortable to work with, and I was certain at that point that I wanted to let him handle the deal. After I left Haas - they did not have a Crème Brulee Camry to show me - I answered a solicitation from Joe Myers Toyota. The salesman there had wanted an opportunity to visit with me, so I agreed to it. He also wanted to close a deal - and it was a nice offer - that very night, on a Red or Silver Camry, and not the Crème Brulee I wanted. I told the rep that I would give him the courtesy of a callback once I knew what the price offer would be from Fred Haas. I felt it was certainly fair to myself to see how the purchase prices compared. But I knew all along that I favored Jerry and the complete shopping experience at Toyota World. Once Jerry found the car I wanted, with pricing that was comparable to Joe Myers, I had Jerry close the deal. Again, as a courtesy to Joe Myers, I called the salesman, told him of my decision, and he wished me Good Luck and hung up on me. So much for his sincere interest in me as a customer - and for listening to me about the car I really wanted. I was very pleased and happy to award the purchase to Jerry. He did the work and was thorough and certainly accommodating, and before he could say anything more to me, I told him not to worry about requesting a referral - I was gladly willing to do that anyway. A great guy! A beautiful facility! Just a wonderful shopping experience, and I hope to meet Mr. Haas personally to convey my sincere gratitude for having folks there who "do it right". Why she never just gave up on me and told me to hit the door, I will never know. But she has always been friendly and honest EVERY time that I have come in. I have been a Honda person for years, but the Accord and Civic have been getting stiff and jittery in there ride lately.. Needless to say I was shopping for a replacement for my Civic. I went in to see Lydia, she found me a car from the Port of Houston, and it was at the dealership within a week. Lydia price matches from other dealers, and does not pressure you in any way. The car that I got was a 2014 Corolla S... The ride is great, great gas millage, great radio, great looks, great rear leg room, great climate controls, ect...
