As long-time customers who have owned four Toyota vehicles, we recommended Toyota to a family Spring City, Texas, anticipating a positive experience. As long-time customers who have owned four Toyota vehicles, we recommended Toyota to a family member who recently encountered issues with her vehicle after just two years. After conducting our research, we identified a suitable Toyota model at this dealership and traveled three hours from Austin, Texas, to facilitate the purchase. While our initial interaction with the sales representative was positive, the situation deteriorated significantly upon meeting the Finance Manager, Mr. Todd Bagley. His conduct during the financing process was highly unprofessional and resulted in an exceedingly unsatisfactory experience. Mr. Bagley greeted us with a neutral expression and without a smile, which we found acceptable initially. However, throughout the financing discussion, he displayed an unwillingness to answer our inquiries and provided minimal information about the process. His demeanor was notably disrespectful, as evidenced by the dismissive manner in which he handled documents, both in print and via iPad. To compound these issues, he engaged in chewing gum and vaping in our presence, behavior that is entirely inappropriate in a professional setting. Despite the process lasting only thirty minutes, our experience left us with a profound sense of disappointment. As dedicated Toyota customers introducing potential new business to your dealership during challenging economic times, we expected a standard level of service characterized by respect and professionalism. Our expectations were reasonable; we sought nothing beyond the common courtesy that should accompany any customer interaction. Having remained loyal to Toyota for over a decade, we recognize that Mr. Todd Bagley does not epitomize the exemplary customer service exhibited by other finance managers who uphold professional standards. It is imperative to address such conduct when it occurs, as Mr. Bagley's performance today was not only disappointing but also a discredit to the Toyota brand. We strongly encourage Fred Haas Toyota to investigate this matter to ensure that other customers do not endure a similar experience in the future. More
