I’m sitting here for the 5th or 6th time after several attempts to resolve an issue with my AC, it started last year in August 2022, brought my car because the AC stopped working, they told me the evapora attempts to resolve an issue with my AC, it started last year in August 2022, brought my car because the AC stopped working, they told me the evaporator was bad, and they’d replace it on October, to later find out that the AC compressor also was bad, but they didn’t have it at the auto parts department and that I was going to need to reschedule for the compressor swap, days later they called me that the parts were in, brought the car back and waited for the repairs about 4-6 hrs. I took my car home but I noticed a rumbling noise coming from the engine, turned the AC off and the noise went away, at first I thought that was normal but when my wife drove the car she also noticed the noise. I’d scheduled to bring it back and after trying to prove the shop manager JC that the noise wasn’t normal, I asked him if there was another car we could sit at and hear if the noise (that he was rating 2-3 on a scale 0-10) was also similar in that car, well it wasn’t. Once again they told me I needed to schedule to bring it back, in November 2022 after sitting here for another 5-6 hrs the car was returned to me, with the same noise or worst, this time I didn’t leave but instead requested that JC (shop manager) to come sit with me in the car to hear the noise, he agreed that the noise was if not the same; louder, he told me to take it home like that and if the noise didn’t go away to bring it back, brought it back in March 2023 to get it replaced; and they did, after sitting here for another 4-6 hrs finally I went home satisfied thinking that the AC was fixed, 4-6 weeks later the noise gradually came back, I came back April 24 and they said that it was another bad compressor, yes! compressor #3 was bad too; unbelievably. At this time on April 24th I’d called Nissan corporation and they opened a case number and told me they were going to contact the dealership to see what needed to be done on their side, and to my disbelief Nissan corporation told me today May 1st to bring back to replace the AC compressor for the 4th time, Nissan corporation didn’t want to owned responsibility of providing bad compressor by “certifying” refurbished parts, and approve a replacement with a new AC compressor, instead they said to replace it again with a “certified” refurbished one, so I’m here sitting at the waiting area with enough time to write this review, and call Federal Trade Commission whom suggested to contact the Attorney General and file a complaint whom in their part suggested to call the Texas DMV and file a complaint since they regulate dealerships and mechanics shops affiliated with the dealerships, also was suggested to seek legal advise to possibly file a law suite against Fred Haas Nissan, let’s see where all of this is going to take me, at this time I’ve ran out of patience, I’ve invested about 32-40 or more hours of my time, and more than 400 miles driving back and forward. I hope that the 5th compressor isn’t bad, will keep updating A note on the good side is that service manager Gerald Toloudis and service advisor Jeff Huynh have been very diligent and cooperative trying to solve the issue with my AC More
