On July 26th I took my 2009 Camry in because it was making a funny noise. The service adviser, Chris R. came and told me news that was devastating. My engine, with just 69,200 miles was shot! It would cost several thousand dollars to repair! I was numb, angry and in a complete state of shock. I asked him what they would give me on a trade for a new Camry. I got more bad news! Chris brought me to Jeff Teague to talk about getting a new car. Jeff was very calming and reassuring. We looked at cars and talked about pricing. I was impressed with Jeff's honesty and willingness to help me in this dreadful situation. At one point when Jeff had stepped away, the sales manager, Ken Cobb came to me and shook my hand and told me they were all going to help me in this bad situation. I was so surprised by his kindness. After Jeff and I had settled on the price and the payments I was taken to Scott Kline in finance. Scott too was kind friendly and very helpful. July 26th was a long stressful day for me, but the people I dealt with took away a lot of the pain and shock of what I was going through More

I have owned the vehicle for one year and haven't had a wash yet as I am constantly told the car wash is broken. I had an appointment scheduled for 830 pm for an oil change and was told it would be ready until 1030, but I could come back another time. This was after they scheduled the appointment!! 2 hours for an oil change?? I drive 45 minutes, each way to frequent their business. I am not pleased at all with their service at this time. More
I WOULD USE THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN Junior Hayes went out of his way to help me buy a car for my son. He is easy to work with and I would ask for him again. Junior Hayes went out of his way to help me buy a car for my son. He is easy to work with and I would ask for him again. More
Dishonest Tech/Service advisor Went in for a simple tire patch, after a two hour wait I was told the first patch did not work. After waiting another thirty minutes the advisor told Went in for a simple tire patch, after a two hour wait I was told the first patch did not work. After waiting another thirty minutes the advisor told me after the second patch attempt the tire was still leaking and it needed replacing. That's when I asked to see the tire, when we looked at the tire I saw the nail was still in my tire. I asked the advisor why the nail was still in my tire and was told after the second patch was removed that they had to put something back in the hole. At that point I asked to speak to the manager, the manager told me after talking with the shop foreman that it was illegal to patch a hole in the location of the puncture. At this point I decided to leave the dealership and go somewhere else. I took the tire to Mr. Tire and picked it up later in the afternoon with the tire repaired. When I picked up the tire I asked if there was any sign of a previous attempt to repair the tire and was told no. I also asked if the location was illegal to repair and again was told no that the location was within the allowed limit. Be careful when going to this dealership for any service as it seems they are trying to sell unneeded services. MAKE SURE TO GET A SECOND OPINION!! More

The dealer had far too few salespeople so we did not receive the treatment we should have. We were there for over 5 hours and walked away without a car because they wouldn't budge on their price, which is inexcusable at a dealer. The next day we went back to try again & negotiate a sale and were there for another 3 hours. The process took way too long and they really need more salespeople so that customers are not left waiting for service. The financial guy was ok, but not all that nice either. They agreed to fix a few things on the car we wanted to purchase, the brakes being the main thing. I had to take it in 3 times in the first 2 weeks I owned the car and they assure me the brakes are fine. However, I know they are not. I have driven many cars and know what good brakes should feel like, these are way too soft. I just hope I don't have an accident as a result of these brakes or I will be looking for restitution. I also had to go back one more time because the service department left wires hanging by my feet and didn't attach them properly. I am still waiting to get paperwork from the dealer, which they said they would email me and still haven't. The service manager was nice and explained things to me, but I would not recommend this dealer. More

The wait times tend to We bought our 2013 Highlander from Fred Andersen Toyota and have taken it there for Service at each of the 5,000 mile services. The wait times tend to be long but it is a very comfortable facility. When I took my Highlander here the morning of January 25, 2016 for the 25,000 mile oil change/tire rotation my right rear tire FELL OFF when I was pulling out of the parking lot. Thankfully it didn't happen on the main road. They gave me a loaner car to take home (which was covered with ice that I had to remove.) They kept our Highlander to make sure it wasn't damaged and said they would call me that afternoon. I didn't hear anything from them so I called the next day. The service manager said that "the stud that the tire attaches to broke off." When I asked him how that can happen he said "that sometimes they break off but he wouldn't expect it to happen in a car with only 25,000 miles on it." So rather than saying, hey honest unfortunate mistake- our Team must have forgotten to tighten the lug nuts- they make me question my lifelong commitment to Toyota by suggesting that my tires might just randomly fall off. In fact, he recommended I "have the service department check the other tire studs the next time I am in for service." I can promise you I will never trust them to service our Highlander again nor will I buy another Toyota from them when it comes time to replace our beloved Highlander. More
Very poor services I bought a 2014 Avalon at this dealership. They promised a car wash with each service, so far, out of 5 visit to this dealership, I got 1 car wash and I bought a 2014 Avalon at this dealership. They promised a car wash with each service, so far, out of 5 visit to this dealership, I got 1 car wash and 1 rain check ticket. I brought the car in for tires balance about 2 months ago, they scratched all 4 wheels. Since the car was almost due for the 15k service, I waited about a month to tell them what has happened on my previous visit when I brought my car in for the 15k service. It was on a Saturday and the service advisor told me the service manager is not present and he will leave a note for him to call me on Monday. I waited until Wednesday to call to speak to the service manager. They directed me to Scott voicemail . I left a message explain what has happened to my wheels. Weeks went by and no response, I was ignored. So during the Holidays, I drove in in person to meet with the service manager. I met with Brian Holloway who was a gentleman and offer to fix my problem by setting an appointment for me to bring the car in on Monday 1/4/2016 and provided me with a loaner car. To my surprise, when I come back Tuesday to pick up the car, it was not ready. I have to go out of my way to drop off the car and return the next day to pick it up. Needless to say, I was very upset because first, they scratched my wheels, next, they ignored my plea and now they waisted my time and made me run around. Mr. Anderson, your dealership service department needs lot of improvement, even though the people in service are nice and courteous, the quality of work is just not there otherwise my wheels would not get damaged and I wouldn't have to go back and forth to drop off and pick up my car. And what about the car wash you promised your clients ? Minh More

I love my Fred Anderson Toyota Camry Hybrid, but the experience of checking in to have my car serviced can be a lot better! So, the way it is now....Fred Anderson Toyota has a sign that says 2 lanes to the left for service.....this morning 3 cars fought their way ahead of me and were serviced. The lady behind me, waiting patiently in line (as the sign suggests) probably had 5 cars speed into the "first post spot" (think nascar). Simple solution (hello, management? Or maybe Fred Anderson will read this and respond)....why not have a simple ticket pull at the sign. Grab a ticket number and wait in line. How hard is that? I'll even pay for the $250 installation (near the sign). Another happy Fred Anderson client, just trying to make this dealership the best it can be. Take care and looking forward to you all making this simple, yet effective change. No one likes a "fronter" (cutter). But no one likes it when Fred Anderson does nothing about it. Steve Blow, greeter outside and Brian at service desk We have chosen to remain at Fred Anderson Toyota where the previous owner of our handicap accessible Sienna was serviced rather than going to a compet We have chosen to remain at Fred Anderson Toyota where the previous owner of our handicap accessible Sienna was serviced rather than going to a competitor 5 miles from our home in Durham. That is because we have been welcomed so kindly and service has been excellent in the past. The first person I met today who exemplified this feeling was Steve Blow. He was professional and very friendly. I was 15 minutes late for my 35,000 mile chechup appointment, but, Steve said that was not a problem. I pointed out 3 concerns and he wrote up the issues in detail. He was so courteous, personable, and answered my questions patiently and politely. What a great way to enter the office to begin my 3 hour wait while I caught up on paperwork.. However, the next person he introduced me to, Brian, was quite the opposite. I found him to be loud, cocky, impatient and negative. When I asked him questions pertaining to my van, the shuttle service, the different car washes they provide (I wanted the $29.95 choice), and approximate time I might be there, all his answers were discouraging, esp the car wash I wanted to purchase. I commented to him on how discouraging and negatively he spoke and he said he was just telling me what was true. I wondered if maybe I should reconsider Mark Jacobson's Toyota instead, except for the fact that Brian is the only employee that has represented himself and Fred Anderson Toyota so poorly.. More
