Great experience! My only problem was with finance I wanted to use my own financial institution I was never asked and when we went back an institution had already been My only problem was with finance I wanted to use my own financial institution I was never asked and when we went back an institution had already been chosen and papers ready to sign I did not appreciate that at all. With that being said a week later so I get all these letter where my credit had been pulled several times. I have a bank that I have been with for year that would have financed me. . Unexpected service need attended to quickly and efficiently. I took my 2013 Avalon in for the 100,000 mile service. Was told, when I called to schedule the appointment, that I could expect the oil change and tir I took my 2013 Avalon in for the 100,000 mile service. Was told, when I called to schedule the appointment, that I could expect the oil change and tire rotation, it would cost around $271 and would take about 1.3 hours. So I scheduled a 7:30 am appointment because I had plans to attend a Christmas Show in Lumberton, where I live, at 12:00. Once the multi-point inspection was done I was told the engine coolant needed replacing and my transmission would need to be drained and refilled along with another service that in all would take most of the day and cost around $1000. I called my husband as this was totally unexpected. He spoke with Bryant, the gentleman who was sharing this information with me. After they spoke and my husband agreed to the service and price Bryant was able to quote him I returned to the waiting area. At approximately 10:45 I went to inquire as to when my car would be ready since I knew I was expected in Lumberton by noon. I was told by Bryant that my car would not be ready in time for me to get to the show on time and offered me a rental. I work M-F at SECU in Lumberton and my manager had blocked out any PTO from Dec. 16-23. I told Bryant I could bring the rental back Sunday afternoon and he gave me his cell number and told me to call him and he would meet at the dealership to receive the rental and give me my car. So I got to my show on time. Bryant texted me while I was at the show and after it was over I saw the text and called him. Turns out after they rotated the tires the service tech heard a clicking sound while doing a test drive. Upon further inspection he found that the wheel bearings on the front right side needed replacing! My car was not going to be ready until sometime Monday! I told Bryant I would let my manager know and hopefully I would be able to take time off in order to get the rental back to Sanford Toyota before the service department closed. She understood and allowed me to leave work at 2:00, costing me 2.5 hours of PTO since one of the hours was my lunch. My car was ready when I arrived. The work on the wheel bearings was actually covered by my warranty and we had a $100 deductible which was added to the price my husband and Bryant had agreed upon on Saturday. In the end the work was completed and Bryant made himself available throughout the entire experience. More
Not what I wanted. I went there for just an oil change. Service department tried to sale me things I really didn’t need. Then stated my front needed to be aligned. Then a labor fee plus some kind of weird service fee.its cost me Around 300 to get that done. The only service I will get from them is oil changes. More
