I called in to make an appointment to have my car serviced and asked as I always do if there is anything that my warranties don't cover that I'll have to pay for. After being told no I arrive to fin serviced and asked as I always do if there is anything that my warranties don't cover that I'll have to pay for. After being told no I arrive to find out that the cabin filter has to be changed and I'll be charged almost $50 for that to be done. By the way this is a simple task that I can do myself a lot cheaper, but I'm not allowed as it would void my warranty. This is the third time I've been misinformed or lied to by the call center. The service manager offered to put the cabin filter off until my next appointment so I'd be aware of the charge before I go in. I agreed as it was my only option other than come with money that I didn't have at the time. I bought my car the day before Thanksgiving of 2014. At the time I purchased everything that was offered for warranties including tires for life which is not offered at purchase anymore. I am going to get a copy of my agreement with you on my next visit to verify exactly what I'm paying for since every visit since I passed 60,000 miles I've had to pay for tire rotation. I know I could be wrong but I thought that was included with the tires for life. I know that 2 visits ago I was charged for tire rotation and yet they were not rotated because one of them had a leak that did not move from where it was originally. I didn't mention it in previous reviews as the tires were replaced the following visit. The company wants to have happy customers but it feels like being screwed by someone while they smile and say I'm sorry this is the way it has to be doesn't suffice. The service manager and the person handling my service did what they could for me but I feel that was only because I got loud in front of everyone there. After I went into the lounge I was asked by no fewer than 3 other customers what happened and they then proceeded to tell me how they felt that they were be screwed over by your company. More
Service department left something off my truck after servicing it. Second time this has happened, and all I get told is that they’ll bring it up in the next meeting. Left a similar review on Google. Got told to contact the GM, tried several times, left messages, and still haven’t heard anything. I’m done with this dealership. More

Dealership is easy to talk to, not pushy. Sales manager found and negotiated a new vehicle for us after the one we wanted had already been sold. Plan to spend a lot of time here. I was totally disappointed with my last couple of experiences with Fred Anderson Toyota. I drive an hour to get there to get my oil changed because that’s the closest Fred Anderson. For the second time in the year that I have been getting my car serviced there, I paid for additionally services that were not performed. This last time, I had to come back on a different day to get the work that wasn’t completed done, and there was no effort made to get me out quickly or to remedy me for the inconvenience. It’s important to be able to trust the people who service your vehicle to do only what is needed and to do what they are paid to do. After two bad experiences, I don’t feel like I can trust their service, which is sad because my car has free oil changes for life. More
Generally predatory sales tactics before, during, and after the sale was made. Answers to my questions seem to have been made up on the fly by the pre-owned sales managers, as the majority ended up being after the sale was made. Even after the sale I received a call stating my trade in(with 25000 miles) magically needed major repairs so we would need to rework the “deal”. Mind you this was 4 days after the sale was made and after the sales manager had driven and inspected my trade in multiple times and by multiple people. I refused, as anyone with a brain would do, and haven’t heard from them since. I fear these tactics may have worked on someone less knowledgeable of the situation. I will never do business with Fred Anderson Toyota of Sanford again. More
