Great Expereience We had a great experience. We came into the dealership to end a lease with Toyota and to trade in an older Toyota to help buy out the lease. Because w We had a great experience. Because we originally initiated the lease in Virginia, we had some complications because Toyota Leasing is only at the Lexus Dealerships in South Carolina to finalize the paperwork. That was proving to be a nightmare. We came by Fred Anderson’s and Joey Johnson was there and said that maybe they could help, and they did. We got the lease portion taken care of and then gave us a better deal on our Camry trade-in than CarMax. Joey stayed through the whole process while we were working with the Finance Dept. Joey was very courteous, helpful and friendly. More

Of course with her first free all day Saturday leave she did not want to spend it getting her car repaired. We went to Fred Anderson Toyota Saturday morning about 10 AM on September 19, 2015. Chivas did the work himself and had us in and out in less than 10 minutes. And the parts department gave us the bulb free (sorry I did not get his name). $0 was my bill! Best experience I have ever had. This is definitely a dealership I will return to in the future! And I'm sharing this on our Citadel Facebook pages to hopefully send more praises the dealership's way! ?????? More
Don't Buy a Used Car from them I have had my car for close to a year and a half. I was talked into the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty by the finance manager. It was almost as if s I have had my car for close to a year and a half. I was talked into the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty by the finance manager. It was almost as if she preyed upon me due to my situation. I am younger and had to finance the car for some time. When I originally stated no to the warranty I was given the response, " You do not want to have to make the payment and possibly have to make repairs at the same time" , so I agreed. Needless to say since I have purchased the car quite a few things have not been covered for example an "Oil Pan Gasket", and was told it would be a cost of $448, plus what other service has been done. When I purchased the car I didn't believe that I was going to have already shelled out 3 months worth of car payments for services, that should have been caught at the time of sale or covered under a warranty that was forced upon me. If you happen to find yourself buying a used car from them do yourself a favor and either go someplace else or do not let them talk you into the warranty. More

Appalled! Negligent service team left soda bottle in engine I've always been impressed with the attentive assistance of your service agents, and Dana was friendly and helpful. However when I noticed a clicking sound in my engine yesterday after my 10k maintenance on the 2015 Tacoma I purchased from Fred Anderson Toyota of Charleston and discovered a melted Mountain Dew bottle lodged beneath the oil filter, all I can say is that I'm appalled. How this was missed in the service checklist shows complete negligence and unprofessionalism, and since there is oil spilling into the pan and onto the sidewalk, it has obviously damaged the new car that I purchased from your dealership as a direct result. Since I arrived home from my appointment on Saturday after your service department had closed, I'm also now doubly inconvenienced in waiting until Monday to resolve this issue and have to drive the car that is leaking oil all the way back (or have it towed). I'm beyond disappointed in your service and most of all very concerned about the longterm affects on my new truck. I sincerely hope Fred Anderson of Charleston can make this right and look forward to hearing from the general manager as soon as possible so that I can modify this one-star review and report on how this unfortunate mistake is made right. More

She handled my concerns and kept me informed along the way. Heather finished up my appointment, as the needed to keep my car overnight. I was given a rental for the day. My service appointment was 5-star. I would recommend this department highly. They asked me if I'd like to trade-in my Corolla, as it was a vehicle they would like for their used lot. I was a bit skeptical and told them I would hear them out. Chuck listened to what I needed in order to make a deal. He was very professional. After we were able to negotiate a deal, I was introduced to Blake. He was very knowledgeable and made the paperwork a quick, bearable process. I will return to see Chuck for my next vehicle and will recommend him to my friends. More
Just bought my second Toyota from Fred Anderson! I went in for an oil change on my Tundra (which I truly LOVE!!!) To keep myself occupied, I decided to walk around the parking lot. Next thing I know I went in for an oil change on my Tundra (which I truly LOVE!!!) To keep myself occupied, I decided to walk around the parking lot. Next thing I know I'm looking at this beautiful Toyota Avalon. Believe me, I was not in the market for a car by any means. I must've looked pretty impressed because here comes a salesman. My usual response would be "oh no" but the fellow looked nice enough. I told him I was just walking around while I had the truck serviced. He said OK, but said he'd just show me the car to pass the time. Next thing I know, I'm buying a 2014 Avalon! What a gorgeous machine. And my sales rep, Chris Mitchell was completely no pressure. He took me in to work with Alecia, who, for the second time, was a completely relaxed, straightforward business manager. When I came out of the sales office, there was Andy Miller, looking for me to tell me my truck was ready. He kidded me about ending up buying another car. I checked out with Leroy Jones, my service adviser. Both of those service department gentlemen are top notch, and in a very tough profession. They always treat me with respect and greet me with a smile! The staff at Fred Anderson treats me like a friend. Awesome business in every way! More

Shelley Jenkins, our service professional, explained ve We went to the dealership today to pick up our 2003 Toyota Corolla which was in for servicing. Shelley Jenkins, our service professional, explained very clearly what had been done to the car and why. During the conversation Shelley mentioned that she had recently obtained a new Corolla which she liked very much. We asked her if we could look at some new Corollas, just to see what they looked like as we weren’t really in the market for a new car. Shelley introduced us to Christen Salvatico who discussed our needs and wants to ascertain the best Corolla model for us. She showed us an LE model in the color that we were most interested in and with the built-in equipment that we wanted. A test drive showed that it was a significant improvement over our old Corolla in terms of noise abatement, handling, and pick up. Pretty much everything about the new model was much better than the old model. Ably assisted by the dealership manager, Steven Rhoades, Christen was able to come up with a very attractive price. Although we hadn’t come into the dealership with any thought of purchasing a new car the offer was so attractive and the car such a pleasure to drive that we did indeed purchase our new Corolla LE. Blake Dunn very competently took us through the paperwork, explaining all of our options with regard to service contracts and other options. After that was done Christen spent a considerable amount of time going over the car’s features with us, even setting up my iPhone on the built in Bluetooth. All in all it was a very pleasant and rewarding experience. I would gladly recommend Fred Anderson Toyota of Charleston to anybody and everybody. More
