Thanks to the service department I am stuck parking my brand new 2018 4Runner and was forced to buy a second vehicle to drive. The reason I have had to go out and buy a second vehicle is because my brakes have went out on me twice and I continuously get a burning brake smell to where people have came up to me in a parking lot and said it smells like my vehicle is on fire! I have taken it in to the service department several times on this issue over the past 10k miles and Toyota says that this is ‘normal’! I refuse to continue to put my 3 year olds and my own life at danger because of them! Yes I have called corporate, but they won’t do anything because they have called the service manager and he told her it was normal. They said my only option was to trade it in or sell it, which I refuse to put someone else’s life at danger like Toyota has done to mine and my daughters! There are several other issues with the vehicle that they say are ‘normal’ as well, but for the multiple brake failures to be ‘normal’ is a huge safety concern and uncalled for! More
Excellent Customer Service on a Major Repair It was time for me to change my timing belt on my Lexus ES 330. I was assigned Angel Pedi as my service coordinator. She was extremely professional It was time for me to change my timing belt on my Lexus ES 330. I was assigned Angel Pedi as my service coordinator. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was confident in her ability to answer my questions on the technical issue of what else might need to be done. She checked in with me during the day regarding the progress. The car was finished at the time promised. I am thrilled to have a trustworthy dealer so close by to service my Lexus. I plan to request Angel the next time I bring my car in for service. More
Well Treated (Josh Wood) I had an alternator problem and didn't make it to Asheville before breaking down on I-40. The service department called a wrecker for me and in 45minu I had an alternator problem and didn't make it to Asheville before breaking down on I-40. The service department called a wrecker for me and in 45minutes I was at the dealership. They confirmed the diagnosis, ordered the part for tomorrow, and gave me a loaner car to get home. I couldn't have asked for more and Josh followed up on every detail to make sure I knew what to expect and made sure I was on my way in short order. Thank You! David More

Service department very inefficient, rude, & disrespectful This service department is a mess. I bought a truck from this place nearly a year ago, and since it's changed ownership, it has sucked royally. I made This service department is a mess. I bought a truck from this place nearly a year ago, and since it's changed ownership, it has sucked royally. I made an appointment for routine maintenance that my truck happily informs me about. Upon making the appointment I had first choice. The whole day was open at that point. Ok, 9:00 a.m. Just as they did the previous visit (and the time before that), they direct me to the wrong line. Therefore I wait in one line for a bit (thinking "oh, it should be alright. I have an appointment), then when I finally get up there I'm told "oh you need to swing around and get in the other line." Annoyed, I do so only to find the line backed up into the road. I wait. I wait. Finally after being ignored for a long time, around 9:20 someone finally asks if I need anything. I tell them I have a 9:00 appointment, but was directed to the wrong line. I get a response with something like "Oh well it's gonna be a while." I then ask what's the point of making appointment if I have to wait with all the other walk ins. The guy them reassures me that I'll get a guaranteed spot and it should take them less than an hour. I get out of the truck only to hear the guy's coworker say to him to just pull that one up there because "we're all out of appointment spots." That's crap. Dude just lied to my face. I sat and looked at my truck in the lot waiting for nearly 3 hour, because it hasn't even been started on. Eventually they got it up and said I needed an alignment (not covered). There's an easy $100 for them. Then when all done, no one directed me to my truck. I had to go looking for it. I actually intentionally set off the alarm with the key just to locate it. When I got in, the boneheads left my freaking headlights on. This place has got no organization and a bunch of yahoos working it. No communication with customers. They never properly tell me which service section to go to. Some of them are just plain rude. EVERY time I make an appointment I'm directed to the wrong place. This place needs a managerial overhaul. I do not recommend this place. Very inconvenient and disrespectful to customers. Honestly I'd rather have them say, "we screwed it up" rather than tell me some bs. More

Arrived at fred Anderson Toyota only to be told i would have a Three hour wait and i should have made an appointment. No thank you for the FREE oil change lol, half a tank of gas and two wasted hours of my day off with nothing accomplished but a terrible head ache...not so free. More

Not a print or anything on any of the rims, and flat spots were still in front. Service manager was asked to come and take a look, he basically said we were crazy and lying... SERVICE manager was a jerk! Will not be back!!! More

After a hour and a half they tell m I had a 10:30 AM appointment for a 35,000 mile inspection minus the oil change, and a Buncombe County safety insp. After a hour and a half they tell me they couldn't do the inspection due to phone lines being down. I understand that but they could of told me instead of waiting till the end. I don't think it should have taken that long to do the work on my car when all they did is rotate the tires. Very bad service and commutations with the customers. More
