We have 2 Toyota hybrids and have always had them serviced at Toyota of Asheville. On 6/26/23, we made appointments for both cars to have an oil change and tire rotations. The appointments were for 1 serviced at Toyota of Asheville. On 6/26/23, we made appointments for both cars to have an oil change and tire rotations. The appointments were for 1:00 and 1:15. At 2:00, neither car had been taken into a bay. The first one was finished at approximately 2:30. When I got home, I noticed that I had not received the video of the inspection. My husband finally went to the service desk at 3:00 to ask when his car might be ready. His service adviser didn't answer him, so the adviser sitting next to him finished the paperwork and checked him out. Nothing was said about recommendations for any further work. He did receive a video about the inspection. It showed that both the engine air filter and the cabin air filter were dirty and needed to be replaced. No one at Anderson shared that information with him and they put both dirty filters back in the car! I called a service manager, who was very polite and helpful. He apologized and said we could bring my husband's car back, purchase both filters, and they would replace them without additional labor charge. Their charge for the filters was much higher than we could buy them elsewhere, so that is what we did and my husband replaced them himself without having to drive back to Anderson and wait another 2 hrs. We were used to the customer service at Jim Barkley and will never go back to Anderson for either service or purchase of another vehicle. It is not that much farther to go to Easler in Hendersonville. More

I purchased a new Camary in 2012 have always had it serviced here.I have 48,000 miles I made a appointment for a oil change and state inspection .When I arrived I was asked you don't drive much do y serviced here.I have 48,000 miles I made a appointment for a oil change and state inspection .When I arrived I was asked you don't drive much do you have you considered upgrading Which I said no. After waiting for awhile I was told my car would not connect to the OBD for inspection if I wanted to wait it could be diagnosed. I Decided against that when I got in the car my odometer had been tripped I took it to a mechanic he set the odometer back scanned it and found no codes hooked it up and everything passed inspection. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO FRED ANDERSON FOR SERVICE AGAIN More
Tried to work with Gabe on a marketing problem and he was less than professional. Got combative and a tad condescending at the end of the call, I really don't know think he's going to keep his word and take less than professional. Took my 4Runner into service department on Dec 10, 2021 because it had a recall and I needed it to be inspected. Got texts and calls about changing fluids, replacing fuel pump and replacing rear brakes fr because it had a recall and I needed it to be inspected. Got texts and calls about changing fluids, replacing fuel pump and replacing rear brakes from service department. Car was there in service department all day and we picked it up at 3:00. Went today to buy my tag and I find out my 4Runner was not inspected. If you can call me about all the other things that were expensive to fix then you should have been able to do the inspection. Another trip from Madison County to find out why I couldn’t get my tag and had to wait for the 4Runner to be inspected and now I will have to wait again in line to buy the tag. I consider this poor service More
Took car there to perform major repairs. In addition, Anderson listed "must dos". Everything was quoted at $5700. Went somewhere else and had everything fixed perfectly for $1900. Many of the repairs Anderson quoted were embellished as being more involved. I'd give them zero stars if I was able. In my opinion they're dishonest. More
Evidently they don’t care or listen to anything the customer requests. My brakes were very unsafe and after one whole day with numbers attempts to contact them. I got a call from service advisor saying customer requests. My brakes were very unsafe and after one whole day with numbers attempts to contact them. I got a call from service advisor saying they would need to keep till Monday. This is after one whole day of my vehicle being there. We knew it was the brakes why is it not being worked on? But, they came up with about three other “possible future issues” I might want to consider having fixed. Thanks for nothing. The service manager was very dismissive when I tried to say just fix the problem I brought it in for. I wish I had just had it towed to a different dealership as I have heard horror stories about Fred Anderson. I will not make the same mistake next time! More
I started going here in 2019 for service on my Highlander Hybrid. This is a 2 hour drive for me since this is the closest Toyota to Franklin. Everyone was very nice. Nick from the sales department remembered me from last July when I wanted to know what my car was worth. I happened to find a used Outback on the lot. Not only did they give me a great price, but also still gave me high value for my trade in. Bo, in financing was great, too. Smooth purchase from start to finish and very quick. Awesome dealership! Terrible service department. Third time my engine light, trac light and multi-terrain light have came on. Adjacent to service is sales. Sales is a (mostly) young men who do not know how to be professional. Today my 3 year old ran into the parking lot and my fiance ran after her and grabbed her arm. Austin in sales proceeded to call the cops claiming my daughter was thrown on the ground and beaten then several of the young men threatened to fight my fiance. Service gave my car back, unfixed, and said given the circumstances they could no longer help me. Robert from New car sales is very professional and deserves recognition for having to employ the unprofessional young men. More
Do not believe what you are told about the service plan when purchasing a vehicle. I was told multiple things that turned out to be false.
