We have 2 Toyota hybrids and have always had them serviced at Toyota of Asheville. On 6/26/23, we made appointments for both cars to have an oil change and tire rotations. The appointments were for 1 serviced at Toyota of Asheville. On 6/26/23, we made appointments for both cars to have an oil change and tire rotations. The appointments were for 1:00 and 1:15. At 2:00, neither car had been taken into a bay. The first one was finished at approximately 2:30. When I got home, I noticed that I had not received the video of the inspection. My husband finally went to the service desk at 3:00 to ask when his car might be ready. His service adviser didn't answer him, so the adviser sitting next to him finished the paperwork and checked him out. Nothing was said about recommendations for any further work. He did receive a video about the inspection. It showed that both the engine air filter and the cabin air filter were dirty and needed to be replaced. No one at Anderson shared that information with him and they put both dirty filters back in the car! I called a service manager, who was very polite and helpful. He apologized and said we could bring my husband's car back, purchase both filters, and they would replace them without additional labor charge. Their charge for the filters was much higher than we could buy them elsewhere, so that is what we did and my husband replaced them himself without having to drive back to Anderson and wait another 2 hrs. We were used to the customer service at Jim Barkley and will never go back to Anderson for either service or purchase of another vehicle. It is not that much farther to go to Easler in Hendersonville. More

I just purchased a new 2023 Tacoma Sport today. Richie Kowolski was my salesman and he was excellent at helping me with my purchase. Shelby, the salesperson in used cars was a pleasure to work with. W Todd Stamey, the finance guy was a different thing. I had 2 questions... can the car get worked on here and is the convertible covered. Yes to both. But after 2 days of vacation time from work and $200 diagnostics from the infiniti dealer in SC, the correct answer would have been some things can be worked on here and no part of the convertible is covered by the warranty. Should have listened to my gut. More
Crystal Messer was awesome to deal with during this process. Her communication style was the key to this sale. Crystal was open, honest and sincere. I was there 3 years ago. It wasn't all bad then but, I ended up buying somewhere else. This time I was lucky I ended up with Crystal and she made the difference. She didn't one time play the common numbers game with me that other dealers do. In my 30 years of buying trucks, this has only happened twice. No fussing, no back and forth to someone else for hours, no stalling, no games. The whole experience was great. I believe Crystal said she just started as a salesperson for Toyota. If that's the case, Fred Anderson Toyota made a great hiring decision. If she didn't have the answer to a question I had, she would get the answer in minutes. Thank you, Crystal, for making an experience that usually stressful, a good one instead. You are very much appreciated. More
Once I walked into the dealership a very kind and helpful salesman Steve helped me to find the right vehicle for me. He was very helpful in getting to take care of a small issue with the used vehicle. So he salesman Steve helped me to find the right vehicle for me. When I called him during the week he always called me back. Great service, great employee, thank you Fred Anderson Toyota! I highly recommend you all! More
My wife and I bought a used car there on 3/3/23. Austin was our sales person and Alex was our finance person. We didn't want the extended warranty but it got put on the loan and when we told them we Austin was our sales person and Alex was our finance person. We didn't want the extended warranty but it got put on the loan and when we told them we wanted to take it off, we were told we can take it off anytime. They said they would send us an email with instructions on how to cancel. That never happened. We have called over 15 times and left multiple voicemails since then trying to get in contact with them to get the warranty taken off the loan but no one has called us back. We have tried to email and call. I filled out a form online to try to contact a manager and within 2 minutes I got a call because they thought we wanted to buy a car. They have zero integrity and do not take care of the customer after the sale. They are very good at taking your money but you will get no help after you give them a check. Stay away from this dealership and spend your money else where. More

It's going on 6 weeks with no resolution, and multiple times that he doesn't reply to texts/calls. I should have listened to the multitude of previous customers who told me not to do business with this dealership. Every person I have vented my frustrations to has had similar or worse interactions with Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville. I was prepared for the typical tactics that salesmen use but this group had to be told no repeatedly before they got the point. I would ask "how do they sleep at night knowing how awful they treat people?", but honestly they probably just take some melatonin and call it a night. The detail job to my car would have been done better if a toddler did it. Of course, that's "not" the dealerships fault as they pay someone else to detail. Maybe if you're paying someone else to do a job, be sure they are doing the job right. I would request that you look into how your salesmen and managers operate, but I'll just assume upper management is fully aware and just doesn't care.. Do better, Fred Anderson Toyota. For everyone else, just go somewhere else to buy your next vehicle. More
Traded in my truck and purchased a pre owned vehicle. Car drives great but head end/radio unit is broken. They offered me 900 dollars plus another 100 for installation 😆… The replacement is min 1200 bucks and install at least 200. Todd (William) Stamey not only flat out lied about the backorder time, I confirmed a 3-4 day lead time with Prestige Subaru which is OWNED BY FRED ANDERSON… He low balled the offer and whined about his cost as if my cost had zero relevance to the situation. Sorry Todd I guess I didn’t realize I bought the car at the dealerships cost 🙄. Still haven’t heard back from them about a replacement have given up hope. They did offer me 1200 and a free installation if I can source a radio but only if I can provide a receipt??? I have to spend my own money in order to get what I’ve already paid for. Consider that for a sec before you decide to visit Fred Anderson Toyota. There are much better dealerships to go to avoid this place at all cost they 100% will lie and attempt to cheat you. More
