Test Drive, great experience. Just went in to test drive a Tacoma today but my wife and I were very pleased by the dealership and Nate, our salesman, was really chill and helpful. First time buying from Fred Anderson Toyota Nate McKee was the salesman that did my transaction. Very nice and pleasant. Not getting the service Jim Barkley provided Seem to have a real problem. I was trying to followup on getting new tires being ordered for my car and and made several calls and could not get a ret Seem to have a real problem. I was trying to followup on getting new tires being ordered for my car and and made several calls and could not get a return call. Emailed the service manager who instructed the service coordinator for our car to call me. Made an appointment. My wife took it in for the appointment time and had to wait over an hour before they started working on the car. When she brought home the receipt, when adding up the itemized charges, the total amount charged was $9+ more that the itemized charges. Called to find out why. Got no return call. Sent an email and got a response saying someone would contact me. They never did. I emailed again and, this time, got no response in 4 weeks since my phone call and emails. I miss Jim Barkley. I'm also wondering if it's worth the 40 minute drive to get my service from the dealer. More
Sales man was horrible Sales man was not helpful once he figured out I am a informed buyer. Dealer says there prices can't be beat not true. Asked salesman to match price on a almost identical vehicle only difference was color and freds vehicle was a year older and Fred wanted $3500 more. Once I showed there salesman the comparable at another dealership he lost all interest in trying to work with us. Please fred don't claim to be the best if your not going to back it up. Have some ethics and follow through on your word. More

Great sales people, terrible finance department The sales people were very nice and really helpful. I went on a saturday and it was busy, but people were patient and in good spirits. I decided to purchase a car after testing a few, and had to wait a long time for my turn to talk to the finance person about rates and terms. They provided drinks and a place to charge my phone which had run out of batteries, so that was really nice. Everything was fine until I sat down with the finance person. He started setting papers in front of me to sign and was visibly irritated when I asked what rate I had been approved for. I had other questions as well since I had never taken out a car loan before, but he stated that he had too many other loans to process and he would not answer my questions because he didnt think i really wanted to buy the car. He also would not accept my pre-approved loan from my bank and tried to force me to sign a 6% loan saying it was the best rate even though I have perfect credit. i asked to call my husband and he was not having it, so i left. They sent a nicer person out to “retrieve” me, and when I got back to the finance person the rate I had been approved for by my bank was magically available all of a sudden. It was a terrible experience, I should have just left immediately, and sadly I do not think the finance person would have treated me that way if I had a male “chaperone” with me. More
