I bought a new Highlander Platinum after quite a bit of back and forth deciding against a Honda. They were very patient with me. Let me go for two test drives over 3 days of back and forth. Robert one of the managers was also great and considered all my negotiations. Matt in finance was super. I’m very pleased with the process and the beauty and comfort of the Highlander Platinum. Very laid back dealership compared to Raleigh so I’m overall extremely pleased. More
I went in for a 50k mile maintenance service appt. Was told I was under the "family plan" and my oil change, tire rotation was covered. I told the service center rep that if ANY charges or service was to told I was under the "family plan" and my oil change, tire rotation was covered. I told the service center rep that if ANY charges or service was to be done, to contact me first before doing anything. I was contacted about wipers and a battery replacement, which I declined at this time. I went to pick up my car and Ta Da! I had to pay $29.95 for the tire rotation, which they led me to believe was at no charge! I am so fed up and tired of their shady practices that I am ready to trade my car, so I don't have to deal with them. The tire shop that I purchased by tires from would do a FREE tire rotation, but Fred Anderson Service makes you think it is free and it's NOT!!!! I am disgusted with their service and this is the 2nd time I have been hit with costs when I have been led to believe it's free. Beware!!!!!!! The rep was very nice and I don't have a problem with her. It is the dealership and service department's untrustworthy practices that I have a BIG problem with. More
Took my 2018 Tundra in for 25,000 service. Was there by appointment time, was immediately welcomed and checked in. Job was finished in about 30 minutes, and I was quickly checked out and on my way. I bought a highlander recently from Toyota of Asheville. We were in the area not even looking to buy a car but found one I just had to have. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I purchased a Toyota 4Runner from Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville on 11/27/20. Received a voicemail from their office person who said the my registration paperwork had been sent to my local courthouse. I Asheville on 11/27/20. Received a voicemail from their office person who said the my registration paperwork had been sent to my local courthouse. I go down to the courthouse on my next day off work (3 or 4 days later). The tax amount they had sent was wrong and the paperwork had been sent back to Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville. Fast forward to 12/28/20. My paperwork STILL had not been sent back to my local courthouse and my temporary tag had expired. Now fast forward again to 1/6/21. I have been told TWICE since 12/28/20 that I would be sent another temporary tag OVERNIGHT until they can get the paperwork sent back to my local courthouse and TWICE they dropped the ball and STILL I don’t have a temporary tag and the registration paperwork still has not arrived at the courthouse. As far as the people at Fred Anderson Toyota of Asheville, they are very polite and seem to be professional but their EXECUTION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!! More
