I went to Fred Anderson Toyota to purchase a new car after my existing car died a sudden death. Jim Amerson greeted me as I walked up to the dealership. We talked a while and looked at my target vehicle after my existing car died a sudden death. Jim Amerson greeted me as I walked up to the dealership. We talked a while and looked at my target vehicle, the RAV4. I left after a short test drive. A few days later, I returned to the dealership and again talked with Jim. I told him that I would like some time alone to walk around and look at the vehicles. Jim left me alone for as long as I needed. There was no pressure, which was nice. Price negotiations went as expected. We closed the deal that night. While talking with the finance guy, Mike, I mentioned that I was an Idaho resident and needed to have the car titled and registered in Idaho. He told me that they do out-of-state registrations all the time. I made sure Mike had the proper forms. I picked up the RAV4 two days later (at my request). Jim took the time to acquaint me with various features of the vehicle. We also went down to see the service department. The RAV4 had a full tank of gas. The only downside to my experience with Fred Anderson involved the out-of-state titling. I called the dealership two weeks later and found out that the paperwork had not been yet been completed. Since I was allowed to drive with my Idaho plates on the new vehicle for four weeks, I was a little concerned. I had to take action to go get a VIN inspection (an Idaho requirement) and get the paperwork to the dealership. After that, things progressed rapidly and the paperwork was submitted by overnight mail. I believe the situation was a result of the dealership's unfamiliarity with the Idaho licensing procedure. For North Carolina registrations or closer states, I believe the dealership would do an excellent job. More
Jeff is one of the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. He is upbeat, very family friendly, knowledgeable, and completely trustworthy which is a rare quality in a car salesman. I wanted to take a minute to express my appreciation to Larry Wall and Lex Deep at Fred Anderson Toyota, Raleigh. On Saturday, March 20th, 2010 I went to see Larry Wall to look about purchasing a car. On Friday, March 19, my car officially died and here I was a single female that lives in Sanford and works in Raleigh with NO car. I was planning on “looking” for a car on Saturday, March 20th and was planning to trade in my car, but now that was NOT an option. So after several boxes of tissues and a pity party I called Larry Wall, to ask him if he was going to be at work Saturday and he said yes, to come and see him and he would do everything he could for me. Well on Saturday morning my daughter, my friend and I headed to Fred Anderson to look for me a car. Larry greeted us at the door and welcomed us in with open arms. I explained my situation to Larry and he said “I believe we can help you, let’s get started” and we did. Larry and Lex worked HARD for me and I was able to purchase a new 2010 Toyota Corolla!!! After Larry finished helping me, he assisted my daughter and my friend and they both of them purchased 2 new 2010 Toyota Camay’s. Larry and Lex worked with us all day and treated us GREAT, they are dedicated to customer service and they are both dedicated to treating Fred Anderson’s customers as they should be treated. Never once did either Larry or Lex try to PUSH anything on us and answered every question we had. Larry spent all day Saturday with us and he never rushed us and made us feel that we were the ONLY customers at Fred Anderson and that was a wonderful feeling. On Monday, March 22nd, I got a phone call, Lex Deep had found me a better interest rate and wanted me to come and see him as soon as I could. As seeing I’m off work on Mondays and I headed straight to Fred Anderson and seen Lex. He was so happy that he could save me money and was able to find me a better interest rate and I was soooo happy also!!! I could tell Lex was TRULY happy for me and treated me so kindly and never looked down on me, due to some past financial problems I have had. I know that the good Lord help me in getting this new car and the reduced interest rate by placing Larry and Lex at Fred Anderson this pass Saturday. Larry and Lex both treated all of us as if we were purchasing the most expensive vehicle that Fred Anderson had and that was a GREAT feeling. My daughter purchased a new Corolla from Larry Wall back in 2007 and due to the EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and the way Larry treated her, my friend purchased a new Corolla from Larry in 2008 and that is why there was NO other place or person, we were going to purchase a car from on Saturday, March 20th, but Larry Wall. When purchasing any car in the future, my family will request Larry and Lex!!!! I would recommend Larry Wall and Lex Deep to any one that is looking to purchase a car. Once again, I just wanted to take a minute and express my appreciation to both Larry and Lex, these type people are the type of employees any person should be grateful to have on their team. More
I purchased a new RAV4 in 2006 and I get all my service work done at Fred Anderson Toyota. They have done an excellent job for me every time I go there. I also enjoy being able to relax before I get on the shuttle with coffer, water, or tea, etc. The service-waiting area is alway very clean and inviting. Recently I came in to the service area fora new battery for my car and even though the service area was very busy the new battery was install very quickly and I was able to be on my way without skipping a beat. We have been looking for a new or used minivan replacement for a long long time, dropped by Fred Anderson Toyota and struck gold. We met Gary Hamilton as our sales person, who was very friendly and courteous, show us a fleet of newly arrived used Sienna, and new ones also. In all respects, any sales person would have run out of patience on us on the time we were going to take, but Gary was friendly and courteous, he wanted to make sure we make the right choice. Altogether, he let us test drove three used and one new Sienna on our own and told us to take our sweet time. Because of the newly arrived fleet of used Sienna, we had Gary running all over the place to find the key to each Sienna we test drove, it goes to show how dedicated he is in making sure the customer is happy and satisfied no matter what. During the time Gary was looking for the keys, the other friendly sales people made sure that we were proper taken care of. It was a tough choice on deciding which Sienna, but fiscal responsibility got the best of us at the end, we decided on a slightly used 2008 Sienna at bargain price, the money saved over a new Sienna will be earmark towards a car for our daughter. The sale process went quick and smooth, Gary located all three keys to our Sienna even before we went to do the paper work. We were so eager to drive the car out of the dealer's lot, we couldn't figure out what and where all the push buttons are when we got home, then we realized that the owner's manual was missing. We called Gary, and the complete set of manual with CD was in our mail box two days later. Again, Gary went the extra mile to make sure the customer is completely satisfied even after the sale. The experience with Fred Anderson Toyota was exceptional, from the initial meeting of the sales person to the person who did the document. I bought many cars from many dealers over the past 30 years, nothing came close to this dealer. There was absolutely no pressure, friendliness and courteous sale force were all around. I don't think my words here does justice in describing how good those people are and how well we were treated. The first place to visit for my daughter's car will be Fred Anderson Toyota, and you know who the sales person will be. More
