I want to start by saying that initially, I ranked my experience with Fred Anderson Toyota of Raleigh at the highest level. I was referred to this particular dealership by a friend who purchased a vehic experience with Fred Anderson Toyota of Raleigh at the highest level. I was referred to this particular dealership by a friend who purchased a vehicle there a little less than a year ago. She swore by the service and attention she received during the complete process. I purchased a 2013 Toyota Camry around March 23rd. My sales agent was great. He was patient and was a good example of what customer service should be. I continued through the financing process without a hitch and was overall very pleased. I even went as far as to give a few referrals of my own to others who mentioned purchasing vehicles. I regret, however, to say that I am now disappointed in the handling of a more recent issue. I initially came to the dealership on a Saturday and decided at the suggestion of the staff to drive the car over the weekend. In starting the paperwork, I gave an estimate of what my payoff was (I could not get a rep due to it being a Saturday) and then gave the number to my current finance company to obtain an exact number. I drove the car over the weekend and on Tuesday, decided to finalize the deal. I signed off on the paperwork, not knowing that no one on staff had obtained an official payoff! Now almost two months later, I am receiving calls stating that I owe almost $700.00 dollars to cover a mistake made by the dealership! Yesterday, I received a message (one I saved) stating that if I didn’t pay up, Fred Anderson had an ample legal team that had no problem pursuing me. I am now at a loss of how this deal went so bad. I am a Federal Employee who is also a single parent facing furlough, and now I have to worry how I will pay a $700.00 debt due to an oversight of the dealership. I’m having a hard time understanding how after having three days to complete the contract, no one bothered to obtain a payoff. I pay my just debts as a Federal employee. However, I question my responsiblility for this oversight. More
I took my 2002 Toyota Highlander for servicing on 05/22/13. It was leaking oil from oil filter. Scott told me it will be about $100 for oil change and cleaning. He gave me the break down as follows: 05/22/13. It was leaking oil from oil filter. Scott told me it will be about $100 for oil change and cleaning. He gave me the break down as follows: oil change $59.00 and rest for labor, cleaning ctc. When I went to pick up the truck, I told him that on your website oil change is $19.99. How did you get to $59.00? He could not answer but would not honor the website price. I had an appointment so I had leave. Later that afternoon I called Fred Anderson Toyota and spoke with a manager and explain everything. He was going to look it over and call me back. Which never took place. Now, Fred Anderson got $30.00 more out of me but that's one time deal. I will not recommend anyoone do business there. Needless to say I am not going back there for anything. Great customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

I highly recommend Larry Zievis at Fred Anderson Toyota (F.A.T.) as the man you want to see if you're looking for a new car. I started my search through a website where you enter what you're looking for a (F.A.T.) as the man you want to see if you're looking for a new car. I started my search through a website where you enter what you're looking for and your zip code and a list of dealerships in your area is provided for your review and Fred Anderson Toyota was at the top of the list. Upon my first trip to F.A.T. I met Brian Pippin who took the time to look-up my web-connected locked-in price and showed me a car on the lot that met my criteria even though he’s a manager. He then introduced me to Larry who was the actual salesperson I had initial contact with and from the moment I met Larry I was very much at ease and did not return to any other dealers that I had previously contacted. Larry was very friendly and I knew that I was in the hands of a man who, not only was a knowledgeable and valuable employee of Fred Anderson but, was dedicated to fulfilling my needs and wishes... and HE DELIVERED!!! Yes, He Is The Man!!! The final person I dealt with at F.A.T. was Wahid Nazari in finance, he had all my paperwork ready for me, time to explain the documents, answered all me questions and eliminated my concerns about a new car note, especially since it’s been over six years since I had one… so I was like a cat in a rocking chair store when I first thought about getting a new car and left F.A.T. driving my brand new attitude black dream machine like a very happy fat cat… More
I want to recommend Larry Zievis and Fred Anderson Toyota. After purchasing my 2003 at another dealership in Raleigh, I refused to return there due to less than average customer service. I chose Fre Toyota. After purchasing my 2003 at another dealership in Raleigh, I refused to return there due to less than average customer service. I chose Fred Anderson for service on that vehicle and knew that I would come back to them when I was ready to buy. In Feb 2013, I was looking to buy a new Corolla to replace my 2003 Corolla. I test drove at another dealership and then contacted my neighbors at Fred Anderson. I was impressed with the direct and honest approach of Larry Z. in sales and the incredible customer service at Fred Anderson. On the day I was to pick up my new car, I told Larry that I had limited time due to scheduled appointments. He was waiting at the door, escorted me to financing and had the car ready to go when I finished with the paperwork. Wahid worked efficiently with me in financing and made the experience painless, having all my documents ready to go when I got there. Everyone worked together to make me feel appreciated and respected. I would recommend anyone who is interested in a Toyota/Scion to Fred Anderson. More
I bought an 07’ Tundra from Craig Hales at the Fred Anderson Toyota store in Raleigh back in 2011. He was helpful, not too pushy, and listened to what I wanted (not just trying to sell me what he had Anderson Toyota store in Raleigh back in 2011. He was helpful, not too pushy, and listened to what I wanted (not just trying to sell me what he had on his lot). It was a smooth transaction. Two years later I got a flat tire and went to recover the jack from under my seat only to find out I never received one with the sale. I called Craig (two years after initially buying the used truck) and he was super helpful. I didn’t have to keep leaving him phone messages or look for him in person; he returned my phone call right away. Not only did he remember me, he apologized and had me a jack the next day. He or Toyota could have easily said, “sorry, there isn’t anything we can do since the used vehicle came AS-IS”. Toyota should have sold the vehicle with a jack and I should have noticed it when I purchased the vehicle, but it is what it is. This is a 50/50 split as far as blame goes, but Craig made it right. I appreciate his continued customer service when there was nothing to gain from it on his end two years later. This says a lot about his character and work ethic. More
Go and ask for Larry Zievis. I have been to many other dealerships that focus on the hard sell and closing fast. I went in first last October, it was late and they were about to close but Larry took the t dealerships that focus on the hard sell and closing fast. I went in first last October, it was late and they were about to close but Larry took the time to speak with us and learn our needs. He even went with us on a test drive for a truck that I didn't buy at the time. Because of his low pressure approach and working within our budget, I went back just last week and purchased a different new car with him. It was the same experience - GREAT. Purchase here. Purchase with Larry. More
Due to a pending move adding 35 miles to my daily commute I was in the market for a car with superior gas mileage. As a single woman I am typically intimidated by big showrooms and salesmen. However, I con I was in the market for a car with superior gas mileage. As a single woman I am typically intimidated by big showrooms and salesmen. However, I contacted the dealership and Larry Z invited me to test drive the car I'd found online. After making an appointment and inadvertently being delayed by 2 hours I arrived at the dealership to find the car parked at the front with a big green sign hanging from the mirror that said "Reserved for Heather". Walking up the steps Larry met me going into the showroom with a firm handshake and a big smile. He listened to all my requirements as I was comparing this vehicle to another one and did not have as much knowledge about hybrids as I would have liked. He helped me narrow down exactly what I was looking for and explained the technology in detail. The original car was the car I was looking for but in a different version due to the bench seat not being split in the back of the initial model. It's nice to know a great sales person can know what you are looking for in a vehicle sometimes before you do. Although I had to leave the dealership several times to shuttle my child around I walked out of the dealership that night with the car of my dreams a 2012 prius c 3 for only a couple thousand more than I had initially anticipated but still well within my budget. Not only with great gas mileage, great safety ratings, split bench seats and too many upgrades to list here... But the car matched the shirt I had come in wearing! My favorite color! As Larry says this is a huge investment that will be owned for a very long time. I'm glad I could count on his patience, professionalism, and knowledge to get the job done right all with no pressure! Combine that with a great maintenance plan and the "Family Plan" I am a customer for life! More
My last lease was a Honda. I went back to the same dealership for my new lease. I first worked out a deal with the salesperson online and then set up a meeting to test drive and sign the lease. When dealership for my new lease. I first worked out a deal with the salesperson online and then set up a meeting to test drive and sign the lease. When I arrived for my appointment 20 minutes early, I was informed that my sales associate would be with me in 5-10 minutes when he finished with a previous customer. An hour and 40 minutes later, I was still sitting in the waiting area. My sales associate then apologized for the wait and informed me that he no longer had any of the car we had worked out a deal on left in the lot. I was going to have to put down a deposit to have one transferred from somewhere else in the country. I contacted John and let him know what I needed in a car and what my financial parameters were. He worked out a better deal for a better car than the original deal I had with Honda. I showed up for our appointment and didn't even have time to finish brewing my coffee before I was greeted and taken into the office. I test drove a car and set up another appointment to come and sign. The process was so easy and John really made me feel that I was just as important as someone else with a much higher budget. More
