Bad experience I went in Fred Anderson Toyota to get some information about the new 4runner. I was immediately greeted by friendly employees and put in touch with a I went in Fred Anderson Toyota to get some information about the new 4runner. I was immediately greeted by friendly employees and put in touch with a sales rep. Unfortunately the sales rep couldn't provide me with the information I requested. As I exited the dealership, I was stopped by the finance manager who offered to help me. He provided the information I was looking for and even offered a great deal for my earlier trouble. But then I had to wait 4 hours to sit down with the finance officer to sign the paperwork. They did not have the vehicle I wanted on the lot, so they agreed to order the vehicle I wanted from a nearby dealer. The vehicle arrived in a few days and when I went to pick it up, I noticed their was a dent in the door and that my "new" car already had 500 miles on it. The dealership offered to fix the dent on another day, which I agreed. I returned and had the dent fixed and left the dealership. 3 weeks later I receive a call from the dealership notifying me that they mixed up the VIN numbers on my vehicle and I had to return to the dealership again to re sign the paperwork. The next day I received yet another call advising that they mixed up the price they listed for my trade in and once again I had to return to the dealership to re sign more paperwork. I had to make 4 additional trips to the dealership to fix the mistakes made my the dealership. The price was not worth all the frustration with the dealership. More

Great Experience / Great Salesman My wife and I were looking for an economical / gas efficient vehicle to use around town. After researching on-line and we chose 5 makes and models from various car manufacturers to test drive. We ended up buying a Prius from Larry Zievis at Fred Anderson Toyota. Larry was a great salesman -- he was knowledgeable, listened to what we wanted and presented us the best automobile that fit our requirements. Larry is/was very thorough, action oriented and followed up on every detail of our transaction. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and helpful. We are very happy with our Prius and will be back to Fred Anderson for our next car purchase. More

He welcomed me to the dealership; helped make me and my wife feel comfortable while both of our cars were serviced (Oil/Filter change and tires rotation). Reginald asked me if I had thought about trading in my 2010 Prius for a newer one. His approach was at the perfect level. That is, he didn't apply any pressure which I GREATLY appreciated. He showed me several Prius, using the perfect level of detail; he was through. Ultimately, Reginald assisted me in buying a BRAND NEW 2014 Prius for me, and too one day later he helped my wife buy a BRAND NEW 2014 Prius! Reginald is one of a kind. I wish more car dealerships had people like Reginald. Fred Anderson Toyota is lucky to have him; my wife and I are already recommending ALL of our FRIENDS, FAMILY, and COWORKERS to this dealership! "THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER" STAY AWAY FROM HERE I was in the market for a 2014 Toyota Sienna at first i thought it was going to be an easy buying experience but after a while it turn into a nightmar I was in the market for a 2014 Toyota Sienna at first i thought it was going to be an easy buying experience but after a while it turn into a nightmare. I stared looking at the siennas and figure out what was going to the best option for me and family. i was researching all the available models and options that they had. My sales person was JUSTIN HEILMAN at first everything was ok until i started to figure out things of my own. We were going to trade a Vehicle that had intelligent key, so i wanted a sienna with that feature also. I asked the sales person a question about the sienna did not know the answers simple questions like does it have blind spot? Tire pressure system? i had to the research of my own. i chooses about 3 different siennas but i wasn't sure because none of them had the feature i was looking for. I had to get online and do the research on my own trying to find out when they were going to get a Sienna that had the feature that i wanted, i kept asking the sales man he kept saying that it did not come on that particular model. I know he was wrong but i went with the flow, I went to Fred anderson website everyday to check their available inventory and finally i saw that they had the van i was looking for. JUSTIN never called me to let me know that sienna had arrived when he perfectly knew i was looking for that particular model. By this point we had already figure out numbers after i had visit the dealership like 4 times, monthly payments,APR and everything from the previous siennas i had looked at, this one was like a $200.00 price difference so i figure it should not be that much of difference . Here is where the nightmare starts So on a Saturday i finally call Justin to ask him if the vehicle is available and he says yes i also ask him before going over there if the numbers should be the same and he said "they Should". It was a really bad day it was raining very hard so i went to the dealership with my Wife and kids to finally get the van i was looking for almost a month, when we got there we looked at it and we liked it so we told Justin lets see the final numbers. We waited like one hour he did not come give us and update nothing. Next thing this sales manager name Jay Tejani approach me and ask to see the car i was going to trade. He told me he was going to run the numbers again because of some error in the system so he said to wait so he could show me the numbers. We waited for another Hour he finally came and show me some numbers that we have not talked about. The Monthly payment was $43 more than originally talk. He kept apologizing but he said could not do better than that, he kept saying it was my fault for choosing 3 different cars and that it was he best he could do. That if i took it or leave it that sample. I explain to him that i had already sign a paper with the Monthly payment we previously had agreed on, but he did not care. The numbers that he had that was it and that he was not going to fix nothing. I asked to speak with someone above him he said there was no one. So i told him that was not the deal got my deposit and walked away.Even my 12 year old son knew that i had already agreed on numbers because he went one of those times with me to the dealership. Jay Tejani is the worst sales man I've ever met rude and makes it seem he is doing you a favor does not care about earning your business. Justin Heilman did not even come and say nothing to me didn't even apologize nothing never saw him again after that, does not know nothing about the Toyota vehicles, after all the research i did by now i probably know more than he does. But i bet he would have gotten the commission if i had bought the vehicle. Very disappointing coming from a Dealership like Fred Anderson Toyota. I will take my Business some where else. I wanted to post this so to other consumers don't waste their time. It does not look the bad reviews here do much because from where i can see only the good reviews get a reply from the GM. How is it that after almost a month going talking you agreed on numbers and when you finally going to sign the Sales Manager comes and just changes the numbers giving you excuses trying to blame that it was an error from the sales person?? The part that makes more upsetting is that it was a muggy rainy day i was with my wife and kids and that we had already agreed on the numbers after talking for almost one month. Bad business More

First visit I only got four installed after they told me they had all 5, they had to order the 5th. After trip and they called to say tire was in I wanted to schedule for a Sunday but was told no technicians were available to do the work on Sunday. So I changed my plans up, and dropped the truck off on Saturday to pick up on Sunday. Sunday 4pm go to get truck and no work had been done, they had the truck over 24 hours. Amazingly they had a technician on hand to do the work but I was stuck waiting. Monday a Fred Anderson employee called to ask about how my visit went and I calmly and politely told them it was bad and why. They told me a manager would be calling me to follow up and that was a week ago. They do not care in my opinion. It's about getting the money, they will say what it takes to get you in but that is all. Would be very hard to trust the service department over what they say when it comes to having a vehicle serviced there. More
LARRY ZIEVIS IS THE MAN I needed a new car for one of my daughters who lives and works in Raleigh (who has a driving age daughter who can say "no" when she asks?). We live out of state so I went to the web to look at Toyota dealers in or near Raleigh and read a lot of reviews. Both Fred Anderson Toyota and Larry Zievis stood out (only today did I learn he really sticks out as he is 6'7"). I called Larry after hours and left a message. He promptly got back to me and we had a detailed discussion about safety, models, my daughter etc and a variety of considerations that all made the intial call highly productive. Larry then arranged a time convenient for my working daughter to vist with him and go over her many options. Larry saved me a lot of money up front while making sure my daughter got all the information and help that was conceivably possible in selecting and understanding her new RAV4 . She works odd hours and is pretty particular so Larry went out of his way on timing her two visits (selection and delivery) to mininmize inconvenience and to searching for and finding her particular choice. She was and remains excited by the car she drove off in, delighted to have been treated so kindly and happy to have made a new fiend in Larry. I too felt special and was confident I had made a good choice putting her and this important event in Larry's hands. Personalized, responsive, friendly, efficient service at a fair price with the world's best made cars--tough combination to beat! I was nervous going it alone as I know some dealers have a bad reputation for trying to swindle you during the process. However, my experience was wonderful! My sales person was Larry Zievis. Larry made me feel comfortable from my first interaction with him when he contacted me about my lease end deal options to the time I signed on the dotted line. I never felt like he was being pushy and he was 100% professional and family oriented. I will say that he met me at a comfortable area price-wise and was even able to upgrade me at the same monthly payment! I never once wished my husband was there to help me get a better deal because I did a great job myself! Thank you Larry and Thank you Fred Anderson Toyota! More
had bad experience with the sales team I was offered trade my Honda 2011 for new Camry SE. i took one of my friend to buy a new Camry, after we close i asked to trade my Honda accord 2011 h I was offered trade my Honda 2011 for new Camry SE. i took one of my friend to buy a new Camry, after we close i asked to trade my Honda accord 2011 has 37k for a new Camry, the agent gave me an offer, i didn’t accept the offer so i said Thanks and left, then 4 different people from Fred Anderson called me the last one was Jay , he told me he is a manager and after long phone call we agreed to trade my car for new Camry and i pay $6000, next day i got a call from the sales agent "Tim Williams" to schedule when i can go, Tim was very rude with me that day, I went there on the time and I wait him about 15 minute then he told me the trade for Camry LE not SE so I said no I confirmed that when you called me, time yelled at me again and said I was driving at that time and it was a mistake, then I spoke with the manager Jay, he said same like Tim, I asked Jay to listen to that call and I will pay double if he is right but he said I will do that later, I am sure about what they offered and I confirmed with the sales when he called me before I drive that far , I was treated awfully, disrespected, and they lied to me. in a conclusion do not count on their word and also I don’t recommend to work with the sales Tim Williams.
