They sold me a Seltos with Aftermarket service plan and didn't tell me. Aftermarket service plan only allowed me to service at the Anderson Kia in Raleigh and no other. Next, I called them, and they agreed that after I cancelled the plan they would give me a check for the difference between what I paid and the refund which was 282 dollars. I lost so much money because of this what I spent and what I was refunded after a year of ownership. Jermaine white told me the check was mailed Dec 5th and guess what, he lied because I still don't have it. He also told me they are a billion dollar company with other things to do. They don't care about the customer just the dollar. Find another dealer and buy and not this one. I have called numerous times to speak with General Manger and nobody returns my calls.. So, I will continue to write bad reviews on this dealer to help other people be aware of scams Twice reported to the BBB but that doesn't help either. The only way is to let others know. And, yea, they hide a 5K markup because they say it's due to not having cars on the lot. Another scam. More
We called and made an appointment for a Check Engine light being on. We have a 2022 Kia Seltos that we bought from Hendrick Barbour in Greenville NC. Vehicle only has like 45000 miles on it and is still light being on. We have a 2022 Kia Seltos that we bought from Hendrick Barbour in Greenville NC. Vehicle only has like 45000 miles on it and is still covered by factory warranty. We took it in June 27 and were told: This dealership could not work on Hendrick warrantied vehicle. I don’t know why but very annoying and irritating. I give one star for this inconvenience but 5 stars for the service department help. I would like to see this inconvenience corrected in the future. Spent $600 on a sunroof repair that’s know. To break on this car and it’s still not working. They claim that was the first step to fixing it. This was never presented to me as a possible fix. The service department is excellent, professional, accommodating, clean, organized and stress free for the customer. And most importantly the mechanical work done is fine. The excellence is summed up in two words: KEVIN TARPLEY. This service manager imparts knowledge of the engine and car chassis as well as listening to his customer. He establishes eye contact with not only his computer as he reseArches the issues but eye contact with his customer!! He is a huge asset to Fred Andersen KIA. I recommended this business to a friend fir his Sorrento service snd he was satisfied and impressed with Lindsay, service rep as well. More
