Repeated Issues I have issues each and every time I am in contact with the service department. This past Saturday, 6-8-19, I was supposed to have an appointment to d I have issues each and every time I am in contact with the service department. This past Saturday, 6-8-19, I was supposed to have an appointment to do an oil change, check my brakes (I was told last time that the pads were very near the need for replacement), and FINALLY receive my free detailing for purchasing my vehicle. I arrived at 8am. The service rep. told me that the detailing department did not work on Saturday. I explained to him that I had spoken with the service manager and he assured me the detailing would get done. Another service rep. stated that the detailer had quit on Friday, but they would see what they would do. I was taken home and called 4 hours later because I hadn't heard anything. I was told the oil change was done and my car was being detailed. I was called again at 1:45pm and he said the driver was heading my way to pick me up. When I arrived, I asked about my brakes. He said "well, they did a 100% inspection and they didn't write anything down so I guess your brakes are okay." That did not give me much comfort.... He then proceeded to tell me that because of my "troubles", he was only charging me $20. This is a common theme at this service center and even the one in Greer. They always knock something off of the price as a way of dealing with frustration. I would honestly rather pay what I owe and not have any frustration. That's really all I ask. I then went to my vehicle and was very disappointed in the level of the detailing. I had been told the detailing level was supposed to have your vehicle look new. I can do a better job myself. I have photos, but no way to attach them to this complaint. I had taken everything out of my trunk in anticipation of the detailing, and no one had even touched the trunk. My windows were not cleaned on the inside, there was dirt down by the acceleration pedal, and dirt in the door handles. AND to top it all off, I do not even have a sticker telling me when my next oil change is due. The old sticker was gone, but a new one was not put in it's place. I will say that even though I love my Kia vehicle, I will never again purchase another. It is not worth the dread I feel each and every time I have to have service. More
Treated with respect and friendliness. Service Rep was so friendly and respectful. He explained very clearly what had been done and what was recommended without being pushy. Excellent. The service was excellent. I made an appointment to be there at 10:30 and as soon as i got in Sean and Christ got me in and out in about 35 minutes. G The service was excellent. Great Customer Service Jimmy was very helpful and proactive helping me. When he was unable to find the tire size that was currently on my vehicle he did some investigation Jimmy was very helpful and proactive helping me. When he was unable to find the tire size that was currently on my vehicle he did some investigation to find out that it was improperly fitted at the last place I purchased tires. Him taking the time and attention to do that made me feel alot more comfortable. He explained how the difference in size impacted the quality of my ride and gas mileage. He also thoroughly explained everything that I needed/didn't need and made recommendations that were thoughtful and not superfluous. I felt very valued as a customer and I will return to have my vehicle serviced at Kia of Greenville versus the pop-up stands around town. I was afraid before because of the reputation of dealerships taking advantage of customers -- but Jimmy did not make me feel like that at all. Also appreciate having transportation to and from work. Thoughtful, informative and helpful I needed to be seen quickly by a senior tech because of having damaged the front end of my Optima by hitting a 5 gallon pail left on the road, which I I needed to be seen quickly by a senior tech because of having damaged the front end of my Optima by hitting a 5 gallon pail left on the road, which I couldn't avoid. Chris and Jimmy were both helpful in getting me a convenient appointment. Ray, a senior tech was able to do a thorough inspection, including making sure the Optima was roadworthy for an upcoming trip, and assure me that everything was working and to spec. Chris was able to explain what was done, including checking the alignment and this service was completed without charge. More
