I had a screw in the shoulder of my right rear tire and had to get it replaced. I went to Kia of Greenville where I bought my car, and without an appointment, Melissa was able to take care of me and get me had to get it replaced. After many years of top notch welcoming service attention my October 2020 visit was mortifying. I was there from 11:30 am until after 4:30 pm. Apparently they were short mechanics and one in training was ass my October 2020 visit was mortifying. I was there from 11:30 am until after 4:30 pm. Apparently they were short mechanics and one in training was assigned to work on my car. I noticed it was driving harder when left. I'd informed the intake service advisor when I'd called to make the original appointment to check this while there for the oil change tire rotation and 29 point inspection request. I was about two miles up the road (trying to make it to a 4:50pm doctor appointment)so I called immediately back to report it and was told I could bring it back the next day (which was I was not able to do until a couple more days) . Also the next day there was noticeable leaked fluid underneath my car on my driveway Two requested service checks were omitted and dismissive to the new (but now no longer there service supervisor Hmmm?) . He was defensive and tried to tell me I did not advise him of it. Upon listening to how he had engaged with the men who were there for services, not only did I feel disrespected as a woman (a professional black business woman at that) I had to prove to him via my dad's caregiver to confirm as witness what I had told him. When I returned my Sorento that Saturday I was treated by service advisors Jason and Jimmy with the caring and concerning demeanor that I as accustomed to receiving at this location. Although the former supervisor still did not record the play issue with my driver side window lever the "major" problem was found, and it explained with clarity. Granted it cost me more substantially (which I was prepared to pay for originally); I was appeased and decided that supervisor (who is no longer there Hmm?) would NEVER handle my service write up again. No worries now because he is no longer there. I did not complete a survey back in October 2020 because I did not wish hurt your rating in lieu of the profound disappointing experience. Now regarding my visit on April 16 2021: Friendly knowledgeable service advisor Jimmy clearly explained recommended additional services beyond my regular routine maintenance requests.. He did not try to pressure me into getting all at one time however gauged me to consider at a particular increased mileage. . he facility was clean with an ample social distanced waiting area. I enjoy the delicious complimentary coffee and reasonably priced snack machine selections. Although the play is sill in my driver side window lever, because I only let the dealership service it, my 2013 baby is well maintained for for over nine years. Keep up the great work. More
