Great sales team; administration and finance understaffed Don and Lee were a great team. Administrative side of the equation was slow....I had a 5:15 PM appointment and didn't walk out of the dealership unti Don and Lee were a great team. "Quality, wothwhile experience worth mentioning." It's not a common practice of mine to write reviews; as a matter of fact, this is the first review I've ever written. I don't even spend a lot of time on the internet, unless it's work related. So, why am I making an exception for Fred Anderson Kia of Raleigh ? Don Meriweather was an outstandingly patient, personable and knowledgeable sales representative who appeared to genuinely care about the customers sitting across from him with whom he's doing business. Sure, he's cares about the sales he has to make (he's got to eat and pay the bills at the end of the day like everybody else), but that quality of personal sincerity compounded with knowledge, personality, courtesy, respect and patience is something rare in the business environment of sales and not necessarily mandatory for selling a half-decent product. However, such traits contributed to the professionalism I witnessed that Saturday (14 Sept 2019) that led to my wife driving off with a high quality, new used car the same day despite having her and a restless two year-old in tow for 6+ hours at the dealership (that's right, over six hours spent at the dealership; nine hours if you want to count the three-hour round-trip road trip). Though, this may have been a significant chunk of time out of my day, dealing with Don did not make this endeavor seem like an era had elapsed before business was concluded. This (and everything mentioned above) is why I'm giving Don Meriweather five stars (Time spent: three stars at best (I get it, transactions of this nature take time, that's why I'm not giving it a 1 *). I would like to make an honorable mention to some guy named Dave (I think that's his name) with an easy-going and friendly demeanor that exuded patience and professionalism as he had to keep walking out of that room with many windows (Financing/Admin/Crediting office, I don't remember) delivering forms, sometimes, the same ones over again, for us to fill out and/or sign. In final, this is a dealership and staff that appear to be dedicated, committed, to working with its customers because they like it. I hope this to be an accurate observation and assessment, and if so, continues to be so for its future patrons. 5 Stars. More
