I had a great experience with Sales Rep Jermaine White. He was very patient, knowledgeable and friendly. There were a few hiccups on my end but he walked me through them to resolution. Horrible. .. They have consistently mislead us when we've brought the car in for service that was supposed to have been covered under their "Family Plan" dealer .. 0n the 26th of October I bought a K5 GT from Fred Anderson KIA, first they tried to get me to pay for a $5,000 market adjustment then they mishandled my tag transfer to the new car. Below is what Anderson KIA, first they tried to get me to pay for a $5,000 market adjustment then they mishandled my tag transfer to the new car. Below is what transpired: • On 26 October 2023, I bought a KIA K5. • I Switched insurance from my old vehicle to the K5 on 28 October 2023. • Received a call from a person at the dealer on ~ 16 November 2023 informing me that I need to follow up with my insurance company regarding an FS1 form and that they would text me the required information. • I followed up with the person at the dealer on 22 November 2023 as I have not received their text. At this time, they sent the text with the information; I contacted my insurance company to send another FS1 form. The person at the dealer indicated that they sent the text to the wrong number, however they should have gotten a text back that it was unsent as this number was my landline. • On 4 December 2023 I followed up again with the dealer as to what was going on with the tag transfer. At this time, the person told me that I would have to go to the DMV myself to transfer the tags and it should not cost me anything. When I went to the DMV, that same day, they informed me that I had to Pay a $50.00 penalty for a laps of insurance, plus $249.50 for a new tag. • I Personally, went to the dealer on 8 December 2023 and spoke to the Business Manager and the person who oversees transferring the tag. We came to an agreement that they would reimburse me for the cost of the new tags. • On 4 January 2024 I followed up again with the person who oversees the tag transfers, they told me that they have the copy of the registration, with the tag fee, on their desk and will send it to the accounting department to cut a check. • 19 January 2024 I followed up again with the dealer. This time the person I spoke with looked in the outgoing check log and told me that a check was sent to me 0n 18 January 2024. • On 2 February 2024 followed up again with the dealer as I have not received a check in the mail. The person I spoke with told me that the General Manager’s secretary would check with accounting and call me back. They never called back. • On 2 February 2024 I received a check in the mail for $21.50 dated 8 December 2023 mailed on 31 January 2023, this is not the amount that we agreed on. • On 3 February 2024 I emailed the General Manager with no response. So, for $249.50, after buying two cars from them, they lost a customer. I attempted to call the GM several times they were either out sick, or I got diverted to someone else. I also emailed the GM with no response. I must assume at this point that they will not reimburse me for the tag I had to buy. I will be stopping by soon and to give them back the $21.50 as this was not what we agreed to. More
Spent $600 on a sunroof repair that’s know. To break on this car and it’s still not working. They claim that was the first step to fixing it. This was never presented to me as a possible fix. I waited 3 weeks for the appointment and was told to use a trash bag when it rains until they can see the car. Unreal. Also, I had to call 3 times to finally demand a manager to speak with me. Do not buy a car from here. They don’t have time for you nor do they care. More
