If you want to haggle, be bullied, gaslit and have “negotiations “ last until 10pm. This is the dealership for you! They were extremely shady, I came to them with a trade in value from their website of 33-35k for my 2018 Nissan Armada. They offered me 27k for it. Then they came back and offered 29k, then 31k then 33k…it was insane the time wasted. They had my Nissan Armada car keys and we felt pressured and trapped. They kept saying what do we need to do to make this happen tonight. We want this to happen tonight. We agreed on the 33k and then they brought the paperwork and it looked off. I couldn’t figure out what was different then I noticed it was the interest rate it had changed to 6.99%. I asked them why, they said they didn’t control the interest rate that the bank decides that. My husband and I do not have bad credit. My credit rating is in the excellent category. When I asked them why? …they said they didn’t control that and it wasn’t up to them. At this point I said I wanted my keys so I could leave. I was shaking and it was close to 10pm. I told them that it felt very disingenuous and shady. I told them caravana had offered me 36k as a trade for my car. (I can send u the carvana offer if you need to see it). He told me in an angry tone he would love to give me 46k for my armada but he would get in trouble from his boss. He said he had kids in daycare and bills to pay and needed to make a living. I said I didn’t want that I just wanted to be treated fairly and with respect. We got our keys and went to leave that’s when he stopped us and said he found a coupon and could apply the coupon and give us an interest rate of 4.8. We did end up agreeing on this ..but we are still reeling from the entire interaction and I still can’t help feeling we were taken advantage of. These types of bullying techniques should be stopped…this is what gives dealerships a bad rap and makes the car buying experience absolutely terrible. I gave a 1star rating because Aliya and Katelyn were great. Mike I think his name was…not so much he would get 0 stars if it would permit. More
Sammie was my sell person he was wonderful I would give him a 10 . But Chris the financial guy was a rude xxx a mr know it all doesn’t care what the customer wants. And to put it nicely he basically totally go back on his words. He gives you one figure and when you tell him you have put money down he change the figure. Here example Chris: I will give you $1000 more for your trade in . Wanda ok but where my 500 deposit I put down at on this paper. Chris oh so I will give you $ 500 more for your trade in so he cut that in half. The way I see it he stealing from customer which is not cool . But other than that I had a great experience. I’ve never owned a Kia before and the experience was top notch! 6/18 - I started out looking at availability for the EV6 that I was interested in test driving because I wanted to see if something could compete against my Tesla M3 Performance. I wanted to see if another OEM could match what Tesla offers for the same price, or close to it. I had no intentions of purchasing the EV6, I was just interested in looking at this EV. I’ve owned 3 tesla’s, 2 MY’s and 1 M3. I submitted a request for more information and was contacted by Nora Stevenson within 5 min via text to see if I needed any support. 6/19 - I wanted to go see / drive the EV6 but it’s Father’s Day. 6/20 - I was contacted early morning by Nora Stevenson to see if there was anything I needed. I let Nora know that I was planing to come to the dealership around 1pm to see the EV6 and test drive it. She let me know that wasn’t a problem and scheduled a time for me to come in. I actually arrived around 11:45AM. Walked in the door and was greeted by Sean Weigel. I told him I was interested in driving the EV6. He pulled up the options at the dealership, showed me what was available and asked me which one do you want to go look at, I picked the car, he pulled the key and we walked out to the lot and found the EV. He gave me the key, I sat in the car and he asked if I wanted to drive it? Of course, so I gave him my license and took the car for a drive. WOW! Kia EV6 is a Tesla killer!!! - If you are interested in an EV, this is the car to get instead of a Tesla. A few hours later and I was driving off the lot with a EV6 Matte Silver, First Edition and drove it straight to Richmond, VA and didn’t have a single issue. Sean - Thanks for the time you spent showing me the different EV6’s and being patient with me as I tried to figure out which EV6 color I wanted. Great service!!! More
