My wife and I found a used 2021 x6 M with 14k miles and test drove it one night. Bought the car for her and about 10 days later my wife noticed a loud ticking sound in the front end when it was turned sha test drove it one night. Couple days later I checked it out and also noticed the front tire were badly worn on the outside edges of the treads. So much so it wasn't noticeable outright because the wear made it look like an extension of the sidewall and we had test drove it at night. I called the dealership and asked for the sales person Ty who sold us the car. NO reply after a week. We decided to send a text and about a week later that he finally called. We explained and he said Kia would do something for us but he would have to get back to us. Another week after not hearing anything and we called in again. Not available again. Another week passed and we got thru to Ty who told us the same thing. They would do something for us he just didn't know what. Not able to tell us why he hadn't already found out. Another week passed and I called Kia to talk with the manager. They put me on with a new sales manager Joe Davis who told me his service dept would never send out a car with bad tires or out of alignment and said two tires would cost about 700 ea. and they wouldn't align the car or put new tire on it. I offered to bring the car in for him to see for himself and he wasn't interested in that. So ultimately he was calling me a liar without even seeing the car, which I didn't appreciate. I then emailed him pics and checked on the tire cost retail($300 ea). I was only looking for fronts. At first I was really disappointed in the lack of addressing the issue in a timely manner by Ty. That turned to frustration and ended up turning to anger for being called a liar and they weren't even interested in seeing the car. Its not about the money, it was a matter of principal. We paid 88k for the car with 14k miles, didn't dicker over he price and after about 10 - 14 days brought the concern to their attention. I asked to speak with the general manager also but no response. Well its been about 2 months now and crickets. Buyer beware! More

Went in to buy a car for a certain price that was quoted to me over the phone, had an appt to see the person I talked to, never saw him and the price of the car they told me was way more that’s I was quoted to me over the phone, had an appt to see the person I talked to, never saw him and the price of the car they told me was way more that’s I was quoted for over the phone. The excellence is summed up in two words: KEVIN TARPLEY. This service manager imparts knowledge of the engine and car chassis as well as listening to his customer. He establishes eye contact with not only his computer as he reseArches the issues but eye contact with his customer!! He is a huge asset to Fred Andersen KIA. I recommended this business to a friend fir his Sorrento service snd he was satisfied and impressed with Lindsay, service rep as well. More
