N Picked up a used Toyota Rav4 last week. Dealership side of the house was great. Very accommodating and fair. No issues with Frank, Chris or Richard. Now, on to the Service department...... After barely riding 15 Miles in the Rav, battery light illuminates and I turn around to return to service department of dealership to have this fixed before delivering it to our daughter in Columbia. Randy greets me and has a tech quickly assess the battery. It's low. An hour later (after he tells me it's not covered in the extra warranty I just purchased in spite of the contract to buy said car being 24 hrs old) he claims to have replaced the battery and off I go....again 10 Miles into journey the light comes on again. Again I go back. He decides a "master mechanic" will drive it because they can't get it to come on in the shop. He never did or the light would have come on. I have now cancelled the delivery in Cola and am forced to pay for another day of rental car for daughter. After 4 hrs. Randy tells me they just can't find anything so I can take it and drive it and just note it when I take it in for servicing at the Toyota dealership service dept. in Charleston. My daughter has driven all the way up to Greenville now and I hesitantly hand her the keys. Within 12 Miles the lights come on and she videos it for proof. Fast forward 2.5 hours later, the car seizes up, sterling locks and all lights come on, engine quits, she is broken down on the side of I -26 in the dark. I am frantic. Tow ensues to Charleston Toyota dealership and the next day it is determined by the Totota service tech the battery has NOT been changed and the Alternator is bad as well as the struts! Not to mention I was sold a warranty that is not applicable to my car based on its # of Miles....I am disgusted beyond words with the disservice I received at Breakaway Hondas service department and Randy and his "master mechanic".... There is not 500 point inspection people, look closely and demand quality service, not lies. The dealership side of the house made it right, refunded the difference of a new warranty and repaid us for the battery and deductible. They can never repay the lack of trust I have in their service department, BUYER BEWARE More

In 2008 we purchased a Honda Civic and Ridgeline from Ricky. We were take by his honesty and friendliness which were genuine. This is the exception and not the rule in this society. We were at the dea Ricky. We were take by his honesty and friendliness which were genuine. This is the exception and not the rule in this society. We were at the dealership for service to the civic and stopped by to say Hello to Ricky and after talking for a while he mentioned the timing for trading in our civic could not been better. The TEAM provided us a deal on an Accord that we could not turn down. We have been treated very well by all the people we deal with at this dealership and will continue to buy our vehicles here. More
I purchased a Honda Odyssey from Breakaway and was pleased initally with the service department. After a little over a year, I had some trouble with the transmission. It was under warranty and they pleased initally with the service department. After a little over a year, I had some trouble with the transmission. It was under warranty and they did get it covered through Honda. I was called the next day with "Good News". My car was ready but needed an alignment since they had to drop the transmission. My first question was why is it not covered under the warranty and I was told that it only covered a two wheel alignment and that I needed to pay to have the other two done and it was 69.99. I told them that I needed to talk to my husband. I called a local maintenance shop and asked how much it was for a two wheel alignment on a 2008 Honda Odyssey and was told that it is not possible. It had to be a four wheel and they were confused on why they were telling me that it needed to two wheel alignment. I then called another local Honda dealer and they told me the same thing. You can not do a two wheel alignment, it has to be four. I then called Breakaway back, I asked the person who answered the phone, how much is it for a two wheel aligment on a Honda Odyssey and they replied that it was not available and that it needed to be a four wheel and the price was 69.99. So at this point, not only has Breakaway lied to me, but they have tried to charge me for a four wheel aligment as well. I went straight to the service manager and he proceeded to tell me that it was possible and that everyone else was lying to me. After a month and many phone calls to the general manager, the situation was "taken care of". They gave me two additional aligments free of charge. I have since been back to the service department and have felt very uncomfortable. I decided to try anoter local Honda dealership an additional 30+ minutes away and have been so pleased. I will continue to go to the other dealership and will not be back. More

We took our van in for an oil change and noticed it had a few nicks on the rear bumper. I looked for Christine and told he about it. She did not hesitate to stop what she was doing and go out to our van and put some touch up paint on it. I would recommend her to anyone looking to buy a new car. Breakaway may physically look nice, but ethically, they are filthy. First, they sold us an extended warranty that mysteriously covers nothing that ever breaks. Then, I took an Odyssey with a disfunct are filthy. First, they sold us an extended warranty that mysteriously covers nothing that ever breaks. Then, I took an Odyssey with a disfunctional door in. They said that the motor was burned out, the mounts were broken, the sensors were shot, and that it would be $870 to fix it. Then they charged me $90 for the diagnostic. The motor was obviously not burned out, so I took it elsewhere for a diagnostic. The closing sensor was cleaned. For free. Breakaway is the same place where I heard a salesman bragging about how badly he had taken a customer. More
