After some discussion, we came to an amicable agreement (honestly, much more generous than I expected) to get my car’s navigation system repaired. I was contacted a few days before the appointment date to confirm. I dropped off my car and a day later the navigation system, and the other features tied to it, are working as intended. I was very pleased with the timelines of the repair. I also want to add that everyone I dealt with at Bradshaw, including during the events of the first review, were friendly, polite and professional (even after I let my frustration show during the first repair). David and Bradshaw Automotive went above what was expected to retain me as a customer and it is greatly appreciated. I would return to them in the future. ———————————————————— My navigation system wasn’t working correctly on my 2013 Cadillac XTS. It shows the car in the wrong location and there is a “no gps” symbol on the Cue screen. I took it to Bradshaw Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac in Greer, SC mistakingly thinking that Cadillac mechanics would know how to fix a Cadillac specific problem. Bradshaw’s use of the “guess and hope” method of diagnosing and fixing my car did nothing but cost me $1032 for replacing a part I suspect didn’t need replacing. After that failed attempt, they decided another part must be faulty and wanted to charge me another $1000 for that part. Incompetence is expensive, so I declined. I paid the bill and took back my car. A day or so later I received a canned email from the service manager, Zach Moran, telling me thank you for using the service department and to email him directly with any questions or concerns. I did that, explaining my displeasure and requesting to speak with him. That was over a week ago. There has been no reply. I held off writing this review in the hope that he would contact me and that we could come to a resolution to this issue of me paying over $1000 for a repair on a car that works exactly the same as it did before I brought my car to them. More

Overall everything was great buy I almost paid for a service that I had already completed. I think an email summary would be better than just giving the paperwork in hand so that we have a way to keep service that I had already completed. I went in for a recall for the roof rail airbags. I made my appt 2 weeks in advance and they said they had the parts in stock. When I got there they didn't have the parts and said they couldn't compl I made my appt 2 weeks in advance and they said they had the parts in stock. When I got there they didn't have the parts and said they couldn't complete the recall on my truck. I wasn't happy. They suddenly found the parts. They completed the work and I went to get my truck. When getting into my truck I noticed a black plastic cover laying in the floor broken. It covers the wires going to the mirror from the headliner. I then noticed that the b-pillar cover on both sides were not installed correctly. They actually broke the plastic clips on the backsides. The technician doing the work just wedges them back on. Then comes the worse part. My truck was being worked on for a SAFETY RECALL. Upon noticing the b-pillars being messed up I also noticed the the SEATBELTS DID NOT FUNCTION due to the b-pillars being wedged back into place. They actually gave me the truck back in more unsafe then it was. I couldn't believe it. I don't see or understand how they could do that to a customer. They put my life and safety at risk but doing terrible work. They did make it right by replacing all parts with new parts. Now everything works as it should. I would not recommend this dealership for service to anyone. More
