I brought my 2019 Chevy Malibu in for warranty service. The problems were a interlock problem the shift lever where a shift to park wasn't recognized and the electrical system didn't shutdown which could l The problems were a interlock problem the shift lever where a shift to park wasn't recognized and the electrical system didn't shutdown which could lead to dead battery. The other problem is raspy sound quality on the radio. Howard Busch the service advisor advised that they couldn't look at it for 49-72 hrs when I dropped the car off. I was not pleased to here this since it took a month to get an appointment. Howard called later that the shift problem was on a service bulletin and parts were available to fix it. the radio problem was solved by the tech by adjusting the treble. I picked up the car drove off and found that the radio hadn't been solved, When I shutdown the car it appeared that the gearshift problem had been solved. I got the warning message to check the rear seat. Subsequently when I shutdown the car no warning messages come up. So the shift lever has become unfixed. I left a message with Howard Busch advising of the problems and haven't heard back. More
