Disappointed in customer service. I brought my Cruze in because I received a service bulletin from the manufacturer. The service bulletin said that if the check engine light was illuminated, there were sev because I received a service bulletin from the manufacturer. The service bulletin said that if the check engine light was illuminated, there were several possible causes which had been identified by the manufacturer. If your car had one of these problems, they would fix it and cover the cost to do so. Although it was running fine, the check engine light had just come on in my vehicle, so I decided to have it looked at by a dealer. Never was I told that I would be charged a diagnostic fee. Bradshaw determined that the reason the engine light was on in MY vehicle was not one of the causes identified in the service bulletin. Instead, I was told my vehicle had a “stopped up catalytic converter” for which I would be charged $1088 to replace it. My vehicle was performing fine so I told them I would think about it and pick the vehicle up the following day. They had ample time to get my paperwork and keys to the checkout area. I arrived at 10:30am, waited for over an hour and was then surprised by a $110 diagnostic fee. I might have returned to have the work done, but after waiting for over an hour on top of the unexpected diagnostic fee, I will most likely take my business elsewhere. More
