By far the worst service I have dealt with by any company I have paid for a service. I took my Chevy Silverado 2500 their and I paid for a steer gear box that costed me $2000 plus dollars. They installed the I have paid for a service. I took my Chevy Silverado 2500 their and I paid for a steer gear box that costed me $2000 plus dollars. They installed the part. Now I’m back in a different shop for the exact same part. To find out that the technician at Franklin Cheverlot in statesboro put my parts in backwards. I confronted the parts manager Fred and GM John about this and instead of looking into it like I asked, I was given a bogus excuse. The excuse was that the current dealership must have messed it up and now trying to point blame. But instead it is GM John who is looking for a scapegoat and won’t take responsibility for the failures of his technicians. I do not recommend this dealership at all. I am a veteran and I don’t recommend this dealership to any of my fellow veterans. Please don’t waste your time or money here. Drive a little bit further out and use a dealership who stands by their work. More
Very pleased! We communicated via text and phone with the internet department and gave our requirements (year, milage, price, style, time alloted to look) and made an appointment. Upon our arrival Morgan Ran internet department and gave our requirements (year, milage, price, style, time alloted to look) and made an appointment. Upon our arrival Morgan Randall (Internet Sales Manager) had keys in hand for those on the lot that might fit our needs. A 2018 VW Tiguan ended up fitting our needs perfectly, plus Franklin's financing outdid our Credit union by 1/2%. Highly recommended. Many thanks, Morgan. More
On April 23, 2021, I, Beatrice, Purchased a 2019 Ford Escape from Franklin Chevrolet. When we were with the Financial Manager, Justin, he passed the papers over to us to sign, and not once did he explain Escape from Franklin Chevrolet. When we were with the Financial Manager, Justin, he passed the papers over to us to sign, and not once did he explained anything to us as to what we were signing. While in there he did mention the GAP insurance, well when we got home we were going over the paper work, sales contract, etc. In the sales agreement, I, Beatrice saw where we were not only charged for the GAP Insurance for $1500, but also for a Service Contract for $3595. I called them back and even made a trip over to Franklin Chevrolet and told them that I wanted it cancel, which I cancelled it my self on the 10th of May. Then David Treadwell, another financial Manager said he would get a form from the warranty company-NWAN and send it to me-of course i have never received it, even today. I contacted the warranty company NWAN and they told me that the contract on my 2019 Ford Escape was rejected from their system, on June 1, 2021, since it was not active and that Franklin Chevrolet would have to credit my account with General Motors Financial, which this has never been done. I contacted Franklin Chevrolet again today, June 15, 2021 and still haven't heard anything back. Also, there was supposed to have been a Owner's Manual in the vehicle, and Minnie said she would get me one; still no manual. We have purchased many vehicles from Franklin Chevrolet in the past and had been satisfied with them, I don't know what has happened to them, but they sure have gone down hill More

My net price changed to 42,479 in finance and I was told my payment would be one payment but in finance I was told the sales manager made a mistake he didn't knew what he was doing. While in the finance office the numbers where not discussed so I'm under the presumption I'm getting what the vehicle window sticker said. So I went back the next day to discuss my concerns and wanted them to fix the problem. I spoke with the GM who told me that the numbers was right and I explained thats not true so he gives a free 3 years maintenance to fix the situation. I was told the finance company has the deal so there was nothing could be done.. The situation is not fix and I told him ya'll gotten over on me but the truth of the matter is they only escalated this situation. So is there a select few that the net price goes up for are is this Franklin's practice for everyone. I'm going to get in touch with consumers FTC and the DMV. I will never recommend anyone to do business with Franklin and I will let as many people know you all practices. " UPDATE " I just received a call from the GM being unprofessional telling me I'm wrong and he's hurt by my comment. I explained I'm hurt how they switch the net price. They didn't delivery on their moto they Lied and was unethical. I even gave them a chance to fix it. I told the GM I was taking this further and his response well you go right ahead. I told him to have a nice day and bye. I wish I known before now this is Franklin's Chevrolet Buick GMC standards I would had never pull up on your lot. More
I purchased a Cadillac from this dealership and wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. I had my car delivered from 3 hours away and they snuck in hidden fees, lied about my finance terms, delivered the recommend them to my worst enemy. I had my car delivered from 3 hours away and they snuck in hidden fees, lied about my finance terms, delivered the car dirty, no gas, and they were so rude over the phone about any issues or questions I had. I emailed the manager and of course no response. Just beware of this dealership and it’s staff. Super unprofessional and untrustworthy. Justin in finance jumped down my throat when I declined gap insurance (that he profits from). Chase, my salesman, took hours to respond to simple questions, and lied through his teeth about several details of my car and finances. And the delivery guy was probably the rudest person I’ve dealt with in years. Just an awful experience all together. Beware. More
Rebate and Discount Prices is Fraudulent Advertising I saw a new truck advertised on their website with a $60,000 MSRP and received an online quote with their best price, (I'll round the numbers for simp I saw a new truck advertised on their website with a $60,000 MSRP and received an online quote with their best price, (I'll round the numbers for simplicity), to a selling price of $47,000, plus tax, title, and license. The truck was advertised as $60K MSRP with a Franklin Discount of $7000 and a Factory Rebate of $6000. The internet sales price says, "Total Savings: $13,000, best Price $47,000." So far, so good. Seems simple. Let's go purchase this truck. (There were many other dealers that offered this same truck with these discounts and rebates.) After test driving the vehicle, the nice salesman retrieves a formal sales sheet proposal from the Sales Manager. All of the numbers previously mentioned were on the sales sheet, however, their math showed their best selling price is closer to $55,000. I said to the salesman, "Your math takes the Factory Rebate away from me and you also added $799.00 dealer documentation fees, however, your internet price says that your price INCLUDES the $799.00 at $47,000." They also tried to sell me some bogus environmental protection for $1200, saying that insurance doesn't pay for hail damage to a vehicle. The (hail) it doesn't. The Salesman brings the sales manager back to explain this "Higher New Math" to me, such an uneducated simpleton, and I ask him to use his calculator and subtract the rebate and discount from the $60K MSRP and he comes up with the internet sales price of $47,000. He says, "There are no pluses or minuses on this sales sheet." I replied, "Then what you are telling me is that this sales document only itemizes these deductions just to show me the discount potentially available and the factory rebates that you are taking from me, but you are NOT going to pass these savings on to me because the selling price is not $47,000 but near $55,000. So, then he uses a calculator and takes the sales price of $47K and adds to it the Factory Rebate back to his price and comes up with nearly $55K. "Oh, that's all that is, you just add the rebate". I said, "Yes, you are not passing on the rebate to me, you are taking it away and keeping it for the dealership. Afterward, he said that I have to look at the pluses and minuses, which he previously said there weren't any, and I eventually threw my gauntlet down and said he was full of "expletive deleted". He picked up his papers and left in a huff saying he wouldn't put up with a customer that didn't put up with his (expletive). I've been in business for years and am very knowledgeable of "debits and credits" in accounting, I've traded 5-8 trucks at a time in my business, along with other heavy equipment. Franklin Chevrolet advertises a low internet price to get you in there, they think you will be all google-eyed about the new bells and whistles of the vehicle and then they turn the "Screw You, Sucker" knob on high! I will be contacting at least my State representative and the Consumer Protection Agency and eventually, I will pressure the political system for major changes in Auto Dealerships business practices. If they attempt to pull this on me, I can't imagine what they get away with on less informed customers. More
They Lied While purchasing a 2018 vehicle from Franklin Chevrolet, the sales lady, I will call her MC, promised my wife and myself that she would get us a a sec While purchasing a 2018 vehicle from Franklin Chevrolet, the sales lady, I will call her MC, promised my wife and myself that she would get us a a second key fob for your vehicle, which we put $10,000 down on, this never happen. I have called the sales lady and customer service to no avail. They simply don't care!! The other game they played on us was after setting up an appointment and driving over 50 miles to get there, they conveniently let someone else drive the car home for a test drive the night before and they hadn't returned the car. This car was listed for over 70 days on carguru and all of a sudden the car showed up as we were leaving, this was obviously a ploy to make us interested in the vehicle. So if they try this on you, tell them you want to take it home to for an overnight test drive also. Pissed off in Hinesville Georgia. More
Curves Good Morning, for the most part I really enjoy seeing some of the faces at the dealership like Mr. Dan and Mrs. Minnie. However, I’ve not been satisfi Good Morning, for the most part I really enjoy seeing some of the faces at the dealership like Mr. Dan and Mrs. Minnie. However, I’ve not been satisfied with the quality of services. My dissatisfaction comes from quality of work, wait issues, rude employees and wait times. I’ve spoken with the customer service representative, Lindsey, who was really rude over a mistake that was made on her part. The two service department specialists that actually write up everything even heard her because I had her on speaker. It was about my tires not being ordered. Additionally, when I called and was transferred to the service department, I can never talk to the service specialists because she wants to handle the information yet doesn’t know the answer and when I’m transferred they don’t pick up or never return your call even when multiple messages are left. Secondly, I didn’t know that shuttle transportation could only take you a certain distance so the little fellow gave me attitude and was like “I didn’t know you lived this far because I’m not suppose to come this far”. How was I suppose to know? Thirdly, I don’t mind waiting but if I’m going to be there more than 5 hours please don’t give me attitude if I ask for a ride or need transportation to get from point A to point B. Lastly, I received some half xxx service, excuse my language, from the techs either they forget to do something as simple as resetting my oil life back to 100% or adjusting the tire pressure to something major as leaving off an oil cap and I’m only realizing it was off after check engine light came on and oil was everywhere. Luckily, I didn’t blow up the car and still praying I face no issues in the long run. I was even told I would have to pay for the hood blanket at one point, which was a lie! Hopefully, things will get better or I’m going to have to find another certified GMC- Chevrolet dealership out of town! More
