Frank Leta associates go above & beyond what to most dealerships is a drive thru service to get you in and out in the least amount of time. This is actually the very first time I bought a car and it fel dealerships is a drive thru service to get you in and out in the least amount of time. This is actually the very first time I bought a car and it felt like I was buying a Ferrari! I felt like I was the only customer in the dealership. A first class experience with first rate associates. I've NEVER been treated this well buying a car EVER. Even the follow up correspondence made me feel special. I can't thank all of you enough for such a wonderful buying experience. I wanted to come back and buy another car just for the thrill! Bait and Switchers. Had an agreed upon deal (salesman and sales manager) one evening at closing time and came back next morning to sign papers and take delivery of in-stock vehicle. Wanted additional $1,150. Had the distinct impression that I was part of a very bad SNL skit. Except I wasn't. Had purchased from them several years ago, but recent visits to their store will definitely be my last. I've had Hondas since the early 1980s and will stick with Honda for all the well-known reasons, but never again Leta. Never. More
When I was in the market for a new car, I had it narrowed down to the exact car I wanted. I knew I wanted a Honda Civic. So, it was just a matter of finding the best dealership to purchase it from. I went to 3 Honda dealerships in the St. Louis metro area to find the best deals and best service. And after my visit to Frank Leta Honda, I had no doubt in my mind where I was going to purchase my vehicle. From the minute I walked through the front door, I was greeted with a friendly smile by the salesperson. He wasn't too pushy or over-bearing. He knew I had done my homework and didn't try to give me the standard, typical sales pitch. It was a very smooth process and he made me very comfortable, which is why I purchased from this dealership. (Along with the great deal I got!!) I continue to go to Frank Leta Honda for routine maintence for oil changes, etc. And the service department is just as friendly and helpful as the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Frank Leta Honda if you are in the market for a Honda. More
I am 40 years old, and my visit to Frank Leta Honda was by far the most horrifying shopping experience of my life. First, the saleswoman wanted me to fill out financing paperwork before she would show me a by far the most horrifying shopping experience of my life. First, the saleswoman wanted me to fill out financing paperwork before she would show me a car. I told her I would be paying cash. Out on the lot she became irritated and rude when I didn't like the first car she showed me. I stood in disbelief as she badgered and belittled me. She then ran inside and grabbed the sales manager, and the two of them teamed up on me. I was shocked and dismayed as the abuse flew wildly out of control. They called me stupid and crazy for not jumping on that car. I walked away stunned. It mystifies me that such an operation remains in business. Later that day, with trepidation, I visited another Honda dealer (Vincel Honda) and was treated like king. The salesman stood by while I looked at amny cars, and there was no pressure. He even offered to remove a couple of dealer installed options I didn't like. I had done my research, and knew how low the price could be dropped. He gave me that price. Needless to say, I bought a car that day, and NOT from Frank Leta. More
