I purchased a used car from this dealer a couple of years ago and this review is based on multiple visits to them for various services on that vehicle. Always keep you informed as to the status of the work being performed. Always contacts you for approval prior to doing any additional work that may be needed. Stay away from Frank Leta! I did all of my research(except I was not aware of this website-I know better now). I thought Frank Leta may have changed from the bad experience I had when I went research(except I was not aware of this website-I know better now). I thought Frank Leta may have changed from the bad experience I had when I went to their old location in 2005 to purchase my Honda Accord. They had not. At that time, they told me they could provide the Accord at an agreed upon price, as the 1.9% financing. When I got there, the story had changed. I walked out, and bought my car at Stephen Vincel(Sue Doyle). Fast forward to July, 2010 and I want to buy a 2010 CRV. The lowest Internet quote was from Frank Leta, and I made arrangements to see the sales person(Ed Vinton) on July 31,2010. Remembering my prior experience(in 2005), I was skeptical, yet thought I would give Frank Leta a chance, after repeated assurances from Mr. Vinton. I will never make that mistake again! I arrived at 8:55 a.m. expecting to sign papers for the car, at the agreed upon price. Instead, I was told they did not have the car, would try to get it from another dealer, it would involve more money as I would have to pay to get it from another dealer, there may be add-on's that I would have to pay for, and on and on. I kept asking for the price, was never told what the final cost would be. I was left sitting by myself waiting to find out about the car, for at least twenty five minutes. I had enough(it was now 10:17 a.m.), I told the receptionist that I could not wait any longer and went out the door. As I approached my car, Mr. Vinton rushed out, telling me he wanted to sell me a car. I told him that I needed to go as my mother is on Hospice and I wanted to go see her-I just want to know a price. I was not about to go back into the dealership-I was in tears, could not take it anymore and anxious to see my mom. He said he would call me. I said that would be fine. I left there, waited for him to call thinking that it would be within a few minutes(he did call on Aug 2-too late). When he didn't call me(7/31), I called for Sue Doyle at Bommarito Honda. I left a voice mail and she called me back within an hour. She was great! Told me that she did not have the car in stock but would be getting one shipped within a week. She took my down payment over the telephone and told me that she would be in contact when the car arrived. The next Friday, I got an email(from Sue), that the car was out of production. I received a phone call from Sue on August 9, and picked up the car that evening. What more could you ask for? A dealer(Bommarito) that delivers that car that you want at the price they had told you it would cost? Everything went so well with Bommarito(Sue Doyle)-it helped to erase the nightmare memories of my Frank Leta experiences. Needless to say, there will be no more Frank Leta experiences for me-it doesn't matter what price they offer you on the Internet. I'm not going to put myself through it, when there are dealerships like Bommarito(Sue Doyle) where buying a car is exciting and fun. More
I was looking for a service center who could complete a safety and emissions inspection on my vehicle so I could renew my tags. I had called several shops near me to see if they could do it, but they coul safety and emissions inspection on my vehicle so I could renew my tags. I had called several shops near me to see if they could do it, but they could not set up an appointment at a time that was convenient for me. However, I was relieved when I called Frank Leta Honda and was told they could set up an appointment for me first thing Saturday morning. I arrived at my scheduled time, was promptly greeted, had the inspections completed to my satisfaction, and they even washed and vacuumed my car. I was thrilled with their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone. More
Don't be fooled by the great reviews. I just bought a car from this dealership, everything was great til I signed the deal. Found out later after I brought it home that the motor mounts were broken. I lived up to my bargain, bought it at asking price, paid on the purchase and didnt give it the once over at another dealer. I called after the sale (two days) and told them what I found out. After getting the run around I was told "as is Buddy" and "we already cashed the check" also "I sold it too low, we didnt make enough off of the sale to fix it" He did not care in the slightest whether I buy a car in the future or anyone else I know either. He offered to let me bring it back and give me my money back and I said "yes, then you'll sell it for more now that you know what its worth right" and he laughed and said "xxxx yes!" He was rather insistant. He wanted it back!! Did'nt care whether I was happy or not, told me so. This is the general Manager. I understand used cars. I accept the scratches, the broken vents, the missing antenna that I have to buy. I do expect that I'm not buying my car from uncle Bubbas used car lot and the car should have been inspected and sold in good condition, Unfortunately it was'nt the case. This is not an isolated incident, just found out a friend tried to deal with them and it was a mess. I'm livid. I'm going to end up spending the additional cash to fix it but its just not right, I asked if anything was wrong with the car and was told no. Just because I came out ahead for once doesnt mean they can take advantage of a customer. All they had to do was make it right. More

I purchased a new 2010 Honda Accord from Frank Leta Honda back in late January and I just reached the time for my first oil and filter change. When I bought the car my salesman told me my first oil and filter change would be free. When I arrived at the service department I asked if this oil change was free and I was told that it was. I kinda thought that maybe they changed there policy. At the time I also had the tires rotated. The service was fast and the waiting area was comfortable. They also washed the car complementally after completeing the serviceI have to add that this was the 6th Accord I purchased but the first from Frank Leta. I never received a first oil filter change free at any other dealer, and I always come back to the dealer for all required maintenance. More

This was our 1st car purchase from Frank Leta Honda (we have purchased 4 new cars through Bommarito Dealerships) and was by far THE worst experience we've EVER had. We came to an agreement on a price for a vehicle and took delivery of said vehicle only to be called 3 days later by the salesmanger, Dolph, who then stated we had purchased the WRONG vehicle and we needed to return the vehicle asap....We had all proper documents signed and correct with the vehicle we purchased, Dolph then inturn said he would not release the title until we brought back the vehicle we purchased and we could then renegotiate the price on another vehicle "he thought" we originally purchased....Long story short we DID return the vehicle (there was TONS of lies being thrown at us regarding the original sale). We went to Bommarito Honda in Hazelwood and were in and out within 2 hours with the vehicle we wanted with NO PROBLEMS or lies..... More

Frank Leta associates go above & beyond what to most dealerships is a drive thru service to get you in and out in the least amount of time. This is actually the very first time I bought a car and it fel dealerships is a drive thru service to get you in and out in the least amount of time. This is actually the very first time I bought a car and it felt like I was buying a Ferrari! I felt like I was the only customer in the dealership. A first class experience with first rate associates. I've NEVER been treated this well buying a car EVER. Even the follow up correspondence made me feel special. I can't thank all of you enough for such a wonderful buying experience. I wanted to come back and buy another car just for the thrill! I had always dreamed of owning a Honda, and not just any Honda but, one from - yes, you guessed it! Frank Leta Honda! They made my dream come true.
