STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. IVE HAD 2 BAD EXPERIENCES WITH STEVE AND HIS DEALERSHIP. I purchased a vehicle from the dealership, 1st went in for service and my rims were stolen sitting on bricks($5500.00) WITH STEVE AND HIS DEALERSHIP. I purchased a vehicle from the dealership, 1st went in for service and my rims were stolen sitting on bricks($5500.00). I believe it was inside job (employee). I talked to Steve the GM and he said they were not responsible but offered a oil change, total joke! Today I go in for an a oil change like previously because I paid for maintenance package, when I purchased the vehicle. The coupon clearly says it is good for 7 years. I get to the DEALERSHIP and service tech says its only good for 5 years and they won't honor contract. I called Steve the gm he said they would honor it. Then 5 mins later said he would not honor it because I reached the limit. I asked how I have several coupons and I asked what is the limit. He said the limit is 7, well why did I get a booklet for more than 7 oil changes. STEVE said it's only good for 5 years. I asked why put 7 years on the coupon. Of course he didn't have an answer. BOTTOM LINE THEY ARE IN IT FOR THE MONEY, basically selling a product with different expiring dates not honoring their very own coupons. IF YOU bought a warranty I caution you to ask questions about expiring services and dates. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WONT BE BACK! I paid for a maintenance contract and you all wont honor it. While Shannon was working on getting us financed with the credit union, Claire took us on a short tour introducing us to service team members. She even explained when the owner started the business while pointing out photos on the wall. Even though she spent at least 4 hours with us, she offered to set up our phones on Bluetooth since we told her we are not tech-savvy. Misdiagnosed repair need and failed to return calls Approximately one year ago, my wife and I paid $1,000 for a set of tires at Frank Leta Acura (Tesson Ferry Rd.). My wife and I both drive Acuras and Approximately one year ago, my wife and I paid $1,000 for a set of tires at Frank Leta Acura (Tesson Ferry Rd.). My wife and I both drive Acuras and we have been to this location a number of times. Each time we go in for service (even minor service, such as an oil change, with an appointment), we always have to wait in the waiting room for about two hours. This September (2019), rather than wait so long, my wife had her tires rotated at another business, prior to us going on vacation. The next day or two, we noticed the vehicle had a lot of road noise. The car seemed to run okay and I assumed the issue was tire noise created by the tires being rotated. After our vacation, we took the car to Frank Leta Acura (September 23 or 24), to have them check out the road noise issue. We sat in the waiting room for two hours before they came to us and told us the noise problem was not the tires, but rather from the transmission. They stated there was no way to correct the problem and we needed to replace the transmission. After waiting another 30 minutes, they came to us with an estimate of $2,700 for a used transmission, with 52,000 miles. That seemed extremely high and we still believed the problem was the tires. The vehicle shifted perfectly.....there was no leaking fluid.....there were no warning lights indicating a transmission problem. Therefore, we did not have them get the transmission and we took the car to another repair shop, whose owner has 40 years automotive repair/transmission experience. The owner test drove the car, with me in the car. He then lifted the car and inspected the tires. He informed us he did not believe there was any problem with the transmission. He rotated our tires back and test drove the vehicle again. The road noise shifted to the rear of the car. We ordered two new tires for the vehicle and now it runs perfectly, quietly. The noise is completely gone and the transmission is still working perfectly. Needless to say, we were not happy Frank Leta misdiagnosed the problem (even though I told them what I believed the problem was) and they were willing to charge me the exuberant price of $2,700 for a used transmission. That would not have fixed the problem and we would have still needed to buy two new tires. Therefore, I called Frank Leta Acura and asked to speak to the Service Manager. I was told he would return my call, but after more than a week, I have not heard a word from him. I also contacted Acura's customer service complaint line and described in length my problem with Frank Leta Acura. It's been more than a week and I have heard nothing from that complaint. It appears Acura doesn't care about their customers and the fact they made a mistake that could have cost me a tremendous amount of money. From now on, I'll have my vehicle serviced elsewhere and I WILL NOT buy a car from their dealership. More
